Time for Breakfast! closed

Trix awoke to the sound of shuffling in their dormitory. The other kids were starting to get up and, being a light sleeper, Trix stretched their whole body and then rolled out of bed. They changed into their school robes, winter coat, and scarf and shimmied their gloves onto their hands. Now they were ready to go to the Great Hall and grab some breakfast.

They walked through the halls; there weren't a lot of kids out of bed quite yet, so it was easier than usual to navigate the giant hallways. Waiting for a staircase to shift its place so they could make it to the ground floor. They marvled as the staircase began to move, the magical world still novel to them. They just couldn't believe they were a wizard!

Amused by their thoughts, their attention shifted as they made their way down the staircase. Waving to the few students they recognized wandering the halls, they finally made their way into the Great Hall.

Delicious smells wafted through the Great Hall, encaptivating the young Trix. They were so hungry. As if on cue, their tummy grumbled its message of hunger. "Don't worry! I'll feed you now!" She whispered to her hungry tummy. They looked at the tables; not many seats were taken just yet. It was still early, but luckily breakfast was already on the table.

They piled their plate with eggs, toast, some sausage and a blueberry muffin. They also grabbed the pitcher of orange juice and poured it into their goblet. Satisfied with their haul of food, Trix looked around for anyone to sit with. And, wouldnt you know it, there was another Hufflepuff! Feeling this was the safest bet, they made their way over to the boy in yellow. "Hi! I'm Trix. Care to eat breakfast together? I think its always nice to share a meal with a fellow Hufflepuff!" They hoped the boy felt the same way.
