───── In order to further her studies, Faye had been told she had to study outside of lessons. When her mother had taught her, she hadn't made her do any studying or 'homework' as her professors had called it, only taught her in reasonable chunks when she had the time. This 'homework' was a foreign concept to her. Another student had told her that there was a study room on the second floor, so she had made her way there. She was unknowing of what she had to do in the room, and had entertained herself by taking out the many 'Alice in Wonderland' books and watching them magically reappear, laughing her head off.

When she was growing up, Faye had only been taught the basics of mathematics, literacy and science. When I say the basics, though, I mean the extreme basics. Sure, she could read and write and all but if she was asked to do any form of algebra or say what the difference between a simile and a metaphor with you would only be answered with a wide, doe-eyed stare and and agape mouth.

Finally, after she got bored of re-reading and re-reading 'Alice in Wonderland' (although it was her favourite book) Faye decided to pick another book. It was a battered copy of 'Macbeth' and, since her mam had been an avid Shakespeare fan, she picked it up. Standing up in the middle of the desolate room, she stood snorting and giggling to all of the funny old words.
