Delilah walked into the Magical Menagerie to find a pet. There they were greeted by the shopkeepers who were an old couple. They were smiling and had white hair. How can I help you, dear. The woman walked towards Delilah. She seemed to be five feet tall at the most. As the woman walked closer Delilah thought they could smell a hint of sugar cookies. I don't really know what I want. Delilah noticed she was wearing a dress with flowers on it. Have a look around! The woman spread her arms as if she could show off the entire room. Delilah started walking to each animal's area starting with the fish. There was one single fish left. Delilah noticed another first-year looking at fish as if she wanted it. Delilah walked away so the other first-year could have it. Next Delilah walked over to look at spiders. Ick! No way am I getting a spider. Delilah thought with a shudder. Next, they walked over to the ferrets. Just like the fish, there was only one left. A first-year had already picked it up so Delilah walked away. On the way over to look at snakes, Delilah stopped by the bunnies. Awww! They look so cute! Delilah now realized that their parents hated bunnies. Delilah now walked to look at the snakes and read the sign that said Parslemouths only. Delilah decided they didn't want a snake anyway and walked over to the lizards and picked one up. Delilah kind of wanted one, but lizards were kind of weird in their opinion. Delilah now walked over to the pygmy puffs. Awww! So cute! Delilah thought with a grin. But they decided their parents probably wouldn't like a pygmy puff rolling around the house. Delilah skipped right past the toads Yuck! Never will I get a toad! Delilah now walked over to the owls. They immediately realized they didn't want one. Delilah walked over to the cats and saw an adorable little grey one. Delilah reached their hand onto the cat's head and started stroking the cat. The cat immediately started purring. Seems like she likes you! The woman said from behind Delilah's back making them jump. Why don't you bring her over to Ernest and he can help you check this little girl out. Delilah walked over to the man behind a counter who seemed to be at least six feet. He also had broad shoulders and a pot belly. Are you going to check this little kitty out? Yes I am. Delilah handed the man ten galleons and walked out with their new cat
