Lost and Found
Selena walked into the library with a slight bounce in her step. She had just woken up happy that morning, not exactly rare, but she was especially energized today. Selena had made her way down from the west tower where the Ravenclaw area lay, and walked through the library doors. Her bag was slung over her shoulder with some books, a quill, ink, and her diary inside. She kept her diary close by always because if it fell into the wrong hands... well it might have some dire consequences for the young girl.

She had written down all of her thoughts that came to her at any given moment in there. Thoughts about Hogwarts, her peers, being away from her younger sister, Ella, and most frequently being a werewolf. The incident had happened years ago, but Selena was constantly worrying about what would happen if someone were to discover her most closely guarded secret.
The purpose of today's library visit was to find a good book to get lost in back up in the common room. She walked slowly through each aisle, scanning the shelves for a title that caught her eye. She stopped when she saw one called The Lost Light. She didn't even pick it up, she just took out her diary and began scribbling some useless ideas down in it.
After a good amount of time, Selena set her diary down on one of the shelves to further examine the intriguing book. She decided it would be one worth reading through, so she stood, making certain that her bag was still situated on her shoulder and walked off to check it out. She left the library with the book and headed up to Ravenclaw tower. Unbeknownst to her though, her diary was still right where she left it: on a library shelf.
