Vale's Mansion Party Poll
Note: This event is happening Easter Break IC (about a 2 week event around March-April depending). Other than games being implemented, it can be speculated that players were doing other various activities such as slumber partying, other unnamed games, or basically other things that may or may not involve RPs.Welcome to Vale's Mansion!
Well, not really. Unfortunately this is undergoing a prototype stage that I will be doing with friends first before I decide about opening it 'free for all.' But before you go, I welcome you to give an opinion for when I do start it up for everyone to join in! What games would you be interested in participating in, maybe! Specifically, two!
You may feel this is something you could be interested in, as I plan to implement rewards for each game. For now in the prototype stage, they'll be low (some chocolate frogs for the time being). I hope when I have the system officially figured out that I'll start having more higher incentives for people to participate.
The GamesDice Blackjack
If you know what the card version of Blackjack is, then you might have an idea as to what Dice Blackjack is like. For those that don't understand Blackjack as a whole, please keep reading!
Blackjack is a game where players must reach 21 or less in order to beat the dealer. For this version of Blackjack, I will have the dealer stand at 17 or higher. The video embedded explains it well. Players will get 5 chips each. Players that lose against the dealer or bust, will lose a chip. Those that win against the dealer will keep their chips. Those that get a 'blackjack', will earn two chips from the dealer. But, if the dealer earns a 'blackjack', everyone loses a chip. If you tie with the dealer, it is a 'push.' You don't win or lose any chips for that round.
Last player standing wins the game. But if surviving players clean out the house (dealer has a total of 20 chips), will all win. This prototype may be changed up if found not ideal.
Pass the Gators
Basically pass the pigs, but with gators instead. It would not be an Ashwood home without gators. Rules don't change, but IC-wise the pigs would be shaped as gators instead. There are two gators total that players will 'roll.'
Whoever wins up to 100 points, or more, first, wins the whole game. We'll be using dice rolls to implement how the gators land. Video embedded explains the original game. I also decided to rearrange how points are taken or given. Will change it around if found in prototype game to not be ideal.

1d50 dice will be in play for each gator
1-9: Gator Out! [If both rolls are <10, then player loses all points]
10-20: On Side [If both rolls are >10, but <21, then double points]
21-30: On Feet [If both rolls are >20, but <31, then double points]
31-40: On Tail [If both rolls are >30, but <41, then double points]
41-50: On Back [If both rolls are >40, then double points]Axe-Throwing
This might interest people a bit. You'll be throwing axes at targets. Your accuracy will play a roll in this, and what this means is that players will be required to have approved stats. Those who do not have this requirement will unfortunately not be allowed to participate in the event. For those that do, congrats. You're able to participate already.
So how do you play this exactly? It's simple (mostly): You get a bunch of axes to throw at wooden targets. You will be teamed up with others, depending on how many players there are. (There shouldn't be that many for the prototype stage, for now). These wooden targets have points from zero, to six. The video embedded explains this game, but I will be changing the rules for the sake of dice rolls. I'll change this if the way the game is played is not ideal.
Because this is a game based on approved stats, I'll be adding a DC (Difficulty Class) that players need to pass in order to be counted as hitting targets. But because I'm doing this with friends first for testing, I plan to just have it probably around 5 for testing purposes. If players don't pass that, the axe will miss the target. If a player unfortunately rolls a nat1 or even fortunately gets a 20, well...we'll see. D20 is used for this part.
If players pass 5, then they hit the target. After that, another roll will decide where the axe hit on said target. Ex. >5 = outer ring hit, +1 point. >10 = second outer ring hit, and so on. Highest roll possible is 25 (bull's eye at 25; +6 points). I will be using a D25 for this. A roll less than 5 means you hit the outside boundaries of the target; zero points.
Truth or Dare Cards
This, won't be too much of a game, but rather more RP-based. This is where you pick cards (dice rolled based on either truth, or dare) and it can have specific questions or dares you must do.
But don't be foolish. This is the Ashwood home you are at. These cards aren't going to be as nice as you hope. Whether you face your most darkest secret being revealed, or being forever traumatized by the humiliation you face may be the least of your concerns.
This event may or may not required approved stats.
For now, I'm planning on these cards and more rules on this still. As stated earlier, this is only to be accessed to friends for now. I plan to have this happen during Easter IC break. So, in that case, if you plan on staying at school for Easter break, it won't be possible due to IC rules. You are staying at the Ashwood mansion for the time being, so that logically means events occurring at school will not be able to include you. (Ex. errands, holiday roleplays, etc.)The Players
Because I plan to only have two games running, I will hope to obtain 4-6 friends for this event. If that's not possible, then I will have friends play one game at a time if needed.
(Ex. If you wish to partake in the scavenger hunt, might be best to slide this option off the table for the time being.)
In order to sign up for this event, please write this form out in this thread:

If there are any questions involving this event, all are welcomed to owl or send me a message over discord (G0thii#5549). This is still in prototype stage. The rules of the games can change at any time if found necessary.
Also, there shouldn't be any reason for spells or magic being used at the mansion. The Ashwoods may be off-putting and strange, but they are not stupid. Not to mention there is a rule involving magic use outside of schools. Therefore, wands can be expected to be taken away IC to avoid use of magic by Vale's friends. Do not try. Vale's mother is not forgiving, as much as the Ministry is. Her family's safety comes first, along with those under her care.
The spiders lurking in the basement were in need of being fed anyway.
