Physical Description and Personality

Physical

She's on the shorter side, about 4 foot 2 inches tall, she has her hair styled in an under cut, shaved up on both sides with the top hanging down longer on the right and shorter on the left. It starts black at the roots and naturally lightens out to silver at the ends. She has bright violet-blue eyes. Ears are pierced.

Mental
She's a Leo, her favorite color is teal and green.
Quiet, and shy when first meeting new people, but she opens up once she's more used to you. Has quite the temper though when you've run through her miles long patience. Prefers books to people but is a great friend if you take the time to get to know her.

History/Background

Pre-Hogwarts:

She was born in Belfast, Ireland on August 21, 2010. Her mother’s family was from Belfast and once she was born her Half-Blood mother, Rose O'Rourke, moved to Cork to open her own Apothecary. Her father was a Pureblood Slytherin from a minor family that her mother knew from Hogwarts. As far as they know, he doesn’t know she exists, and Valerian doesn't know or care to know his identity.
Valerian currently lives with her mother in a small flat in the muggle part of Cork, the apartment of course is spelled to be a little bigger on the inside and has its own greenhouse where Rose grows her plants for the Apothecary. Valerian’s room is not very big but every available surface is stacked with books, fictional, books on potions, and books on herbology, her favorite subjects.
When her mother is at work running the Apothecary, Valerian spends time with their downstairs neighbor, a Squib who works at the local library who has been watching Valerian since infancy. She would take Valerian with her to the Library, which is where Valerian's love of books came from. When Rose is at home, Valerian helps her take care of the plants that grow in the greenhouse and teaches her the properties of the plants she grows.

First Instance of Magic: When Valerian was a toddler, she caused a small window pane to crack when she through a tantrum.
