Vale is a non-binary wizard with short brown hair and hazel eyes. They always wear a music note necklace for good luck.
-Mental Description:
Vale is very much an introvert. They don't make friends very easily and have a habit of burying themselves in their work. When they're not working, they usually keep to themselves and their music, as they're a gifted clarinetist and singer. They do suffer from depression and anxiety due to the bullying they went through when they were younger.
-Biography:
Vale is an only child and was very lucky to have parents who supported them when they came out as non-binary and pansexual. Their parents are both wizards, with their father, Ephraim Aurora, being an auror and their mother, Linnea Aurora, a magizoologist. Vale's parents made sure that their child was well-educated in the wizarding world and an excellent reader. As for friends, they were an outcast as soon as they came out. They were bullied a lot because they were different. But they always have their family to put them back together.
-First Instance of Magic:
The first incident of accidental use of underaged magic for Vale was during an instance where they were being bullied. On this day, they were sick and tired of how they had been treated and were feeling very angry. All of the sudden, their books flew out of their backpack towards the bullies, knocking them to the ground. Vale was understandably freaking out. They quickly picked up their books, put them into their bag, and ran straight home. After Vale told their parents everything, they were told that they were a wizard.
-Hobbies & Interests:
Playing clarinet, singing, writing, reading, cats, watching Quidditch matches, learning more about magic, and astrology
-What are you looking forward to the most about Hogwarts?
Vale is looking forward to the experiences that come with being in one of the four houses at Hogwarts. They look forward to finally having a place where they belong and to making friends who will help them stand up to the bullies. They never had that back in London, so hopefully Hogwarts will be different.
Vale is also looking forward to a lot of their classes, especially Astronomy. Vale's father was also a star student in Astronomy, and he and Vale have a tradition of going out into their backyard, laying in the grass, and looking up at the sky every night. He would point out all the different constellations to Vale, and this led to their fascination with the subject.
-What are you looking forward to the least about Hogwarts?
Vale is definitely not looking forward to Potions. Both of their parents were not the greatest at the subject, and Vale was warned that Potions professors have a history of being very strict. They hope to Merlin that this isn't the case with their professor.
