Chills & Thrills open to 2

The moment Winter's eyes had fluttered open, the bright white snow had been spotted from the dormitory window, the sunlight reflecting off that of which had gotten caught on the outer window frame. She wouldn't dare to waste a moment inside, she quickly got dressed into a cozy outfit, thoughts of what to do running through her mind as she did so, she came up with a few ideas before grabbing a small trunk rushing out to the courtyard.

Her black boots left their tracks as she made her way to the fountain, the snow falling slowly but heavily, each snowflake of every shape and size glistening in the light of the early morn. Using the sleeve of her jacket, she wiped off a part of the fountain leaving a snow-free place to sit as she enjoyed her time. It hadn't seemed like many students had been up so early, normally Winter wouldn't have been either but the urge to be out in the snow was overpowering.

She drew in the snow beside her after setting the trunk down, snow covering the top little bits at a time. A soft smile was pasted to her face. A deep breath filled her lungs the cold feeling awfully good after having been breathing in warm air all night long. Winter let out a happy breath, her eyes catching the sight of it as it left her lips due to the bitey air. Her expression was soft, happy, and appreciative. It had been so long since she saw so much snow, let alone had a white Christmas! this was a dream come true, a miracle even. This lovely morning had made her day, she could only wish for a day like this back in London.

Though she had been alone, it wasn't anything she wasn't used to. Company would be great, she'd love to spend some time with a friend of fellow Hufflepuff at a great time as such but either way, she was happy! Her eyes wandered the courtyard, awaiting someone she knew before she was off to the great lake for a special, exciting time!!!
