Journey
How curious, the scent and the sound offered by a car full of teens. It was a ugh... experience. "Like don't touch me," Mezmarat would warn as one such student came just a little too close. Her face about armpit height, it was a distressing moment. She would lug her trunk with her, unwilling to separate herself from everything that she has ever owned and take refuge in a corner. She placed her trunk on the seat next to her, a tangible barrier between herself and whatever member of the unwashed masses that would choose to seat themselves next to her.
She would recover a book from her belongings. Being a girl that abided by some tropes, her trunk was loaded to the brim with accessories and clothes. Sure, she had those drab robes and that awful hat that was on her school items list. Within the tangled confined of scarves and scrunchies she would find what she was looking for, a book. The book was big, too heavy in truth. She regretted attempting to retrieve the tome, it felt as if the bones in her forearms were being bent. Still, she was interested in the book, some sort of aged muggle textbook from the 1990's, decades old, the information might be partially updated but it was one f the few links she had to how muggles think. Her life was separate from that of muggles, she had never seen one up close and personal although she had seen them in the streets and even the station in passing she found the strange light box in their hands that they often gazed into to be concerning, possibly dangerous.
She would embark upon this lonesome journey to Hogwarts. A place that she yearned to learn from, to experience something beyond the written words she had once read.
