Christmas Eve//Birthday Fin

Emily walked into the Owlery with her letting in one hand, she looked around and tied the letter to one of the letter owls. She wanted to inform her parents that she wasn't going to be there for Christmas, or even worse her Birthday. Her parents never really cared for Christmas since they didn't celebrate it, but they sure would care about her birthday. She was nervous but she knew her parents would approve, they thought it was important for her to hang around with friends.

Dear parents

I hope you are both doing amazing! I have missed you both so much! I wanted to let you know that I am doing perfectly fine and hope you both are doing amazing as well! My classes are going great and if met a lot of friends yet! I really get along with a lot of them! I even went to the fall ball with someone, Yes a boy, no not a boyfriend, he has someone, nothing to worry about, and nothing to get involved in. Yes, I am talking about you dad.

What I also wanted to owl you about is, uhm I was invited to spend Christmas with some friends, which means I won't be there for my birthday, I am so so sorry really. I just don't want to miss it. I hope you both understand!

She was quite satisfied with her letter, she wasn't to good at expressing feelings but she sure liked to talk to her parents. She made sure the letter was attached correctly to the owl and made it set off, hoping to get a good reply
