A New Beginning Closed

His whole life Tyler Curry was bullied and viewed as different by his fellow peers at his old school. It would different now. Tyler now had the chance to finally feel accepted into something and not feel like a freak. It all started when Tyler started to notice his weird abilities at the age of nine when stuff around his house mysteriously move, or somewhat levitate. Then there was one time when a boy named Kyle Smith from his old school antagonized him by throwing rocks at him. While Tyler was trying to run away from his attacker, he somehow found himself at the very top of a tree as if he teleported there. He was luckily helped down by the local firemen and would wonder how he got up the tree until a few years later.

During the summer, a woman came by Tyler's house and wanted to talk with hm and his parents. At first he thought he was in some kind of trouble, but then the woman introduced herself as a member of the Ministry of Magic. The woman who was named Mrs. Hartman then told Tyler and his parents that magic existed and that Tyler was magically gifted. Mrs. Hartman then told them that Tyler was a Muggle-born due to the magical gene finally being awakened, after many generations of it laying dormant in the family. She then handed Tyer a letter addressed to him, stating that he was invited to attend Hogwarts. Tyler's parents thought she was crazy at first, but then she demonstrated a few magical spells to convince them. After some time to process all the new information, Tyler's parents were hesitant on letting him go to a secret school far away from home. Luckily Tyler convinced them to let him go by saying, "Please let me go. My whole life I've felt different. I am always bullied and everyone thinks I'm a freak. If I go to this school, then I can finally make feel friends and feel accepted." After a few minutes of his parents talking it over, they finally agreed.

Skip to current times, and Tyler is finally on his way to Hogwarts. He is very excited to make new friends and to learn what it's like to be a wizard. He luckily got an unoccupied area to sit and put his luggage above him on the rack. The train then took off and Tyler just read a book while he waited. He then studied his wand and played with it pretending he was doing magic. After a while of being bord waiting, he started to miss his family back home. He now started to think to himself that he wouldn't be able to see his parents again until the Christmas break.

He quickly shook the thought off and stared out the window. It always made Tyler feel calm to see the beautiful wilderness. He then wondered to himself on how he would make new friends this year, since he was never good at making them before at his old school.
