New Surroundings
This means Eira's thinkin to herself :] ``example``
Eira walks through the train station in-between her parents as they lead her to get to Platform 9 3/4. Eira was - to say the least - ecstatic for this new world of magic and wonders. Though she is quite nervous, she doesn't know what it's going to be like, or if she'll make any friends or.. or anything! She wanted to cry but at the same time she wanted to jump with joy. The scariest part is that she was doing this alone, her parents can't go with her.
"So we just go through this... wall...?" Eira mumbles, looking up at the signs. They are directly between platforms 9 and 10.
"That's what the letter says..." Eira's dad says, unsure.
"You go first, Eira." Eira's mom quickly says, pushing her forward a bit.
"Why me?!" she exclaims before pausing and sighing, "Fine.. I'll go first.." Eira says, unsure, "Be right behind me though!" she says to her parents and they nod. Eira closes her eyes and starts running towards the wall, pushing her trolly as best as she could, directly through the wall. As soon as she feels no impact she opens her eyes to see what looks like a completely different train station. She takes in her surroundings with stars in her eyes. Not too soon after her parents came through after her, looking just as astonished.
Once they got out of their trance, they looked around some more to see where to go next. Eira's parents soon spot where they need to go and nudge Eira towards the line to get on the train.
"Mum, dad, are you sure you can't come with me?" Eira asks, a hint of sadness in her voice that she'd be leaving them.
Eira's dad nods, "Sweetie, this is a school for students, me and your mum are long past students," he jokes, which pulls a chuckle from his wife.
"Yep, you've got to be a big girl and have fun at school! And we'll see you during breaks, so don't worry, you're not leaving forever," Eira's mom added to what her husband said.
"And don't forget to write to us," Eira's dad says to his daughter, Eira's mum nodding. Both of them giving Eira a big kiss on each of her cheeks at the same time.
"We're gonna miss you so much, dear, we'll see you in no time," Eira's mum says with a soft smile. "Now go, we don't want you to miss the train." Eira's dad says. She nods, determined to make them proud, getting onto the train. "I love you guys!!!" Eira yells from the train door before getting shoved into the train by some other random student, hearing a faint 'Love you too!!' from outside the train from both of her parents. Eira finds an empty carriage with a faint smile. She puts her bags up top to the best of her abilities, having to jump a bit to get them up there properly. She then sits down, content with where she is.
``I'm gonna make them so proud`` Eira thinks to herself, as the train starts to move.
Time to start a new journey.
