Do You Dare
December 1st, 2022
December 1st. The Christmas holidays were getting closer. Singing coild be heard in the corridors and decorations were started to be set up around the corridors of Hogwarts. Snow would cover the grounds soon and hogwarts would soon start to look like the perfect Christmas card.
With all this festive cheer in the air, how could one not feel happy. How could someone feel alone....
Henry walked through the corridors, Loki by his side and a red notebook tucked underneath his arm. The path ahead directed for the library.
Blue eyes casting around, with the Christmas spirit in the air and decorations starting yo be hung up. Henry wasn't feeling cheerful or festival, he wasn't looking fotward to the break or upcoming Christmas holiday. The third year is dreading the upcoming Christmas and that month of December.
Henry heard about others placing letters in the owlery to find a unknown and mysterious quill pal but what about placing a journal in the library? To attract a curious soul that Christmas holiday and write to them using the journal.... to send each other on dares and play games to learn about the other?
Henry carefully stepped into the library, Loki at his heal. The teen looked around, there wasn't many others there. Good, that would only make this easier.
The third year walked through the library, going toward the back having a plan where to stick the notebook for another to find.
Stopping a few rows from the back, Henry turned and walk down a row that contains books on transfiguration. Walking about half way, Henry eyed the books for a spot to slip in the notebook. Knowing it had to stand out to students but blend in to the librarian and professors.
Running his hand along the spines of the books, Henry held the notebooks up and slipped it between two large leather-bound books. Nodding at the placement, Henry turned on his heels and left the row.
Walking as fast as he could while still appearing normal from the library with Loki by his side. Not wanting to be spotted or known as the one who placed rhe notebook there, another reason why he took time to write in another handwriting so no one would recognize his own from his classes or anywhere else...
Reaching the library doors, Henry opened the door and slipped out with Loki back into the corridors. Looking back at the library, Henry wondered what would happen as he walked toward the slytherin common room and Snape dormitory where he hoped his bunk mate was already.
The Notebook
The notebook is a small, leatherback read book that pages are complete blank except for the first two pages of the book.
The cover of the red notebook in black ink has three words written in the center.
Do You Dare?
The notebook is nestled between teo large and rather old leather-bound books on transfiguration in the back of the library.
If someome would find it and pulled it out, opening it to the first page then they would find a message and riddle.
Your in the library, finishing a essay or studying with friends or looking for a way to pass the time when you come across a notebook.
Unsure how it got there, you reached for it and open it to the first page.... I left a few clues for you, if you want to play then continue reading but if not then put the book back on the shelf.
____ __ ____ _______ _____ __________
A coded message that can be solved using a few books that can be found in the library....
Ready?
Your first clue involves a bit of reading.... look for the philosophers stone
Your next clue ~ a class that involves some nighttime reading
The next one is in themed with December and the holiday that gets everyone excited for...
The wirtings end, only the coded message
remains for those who decide to play. Once the message has been solved and the page read, the next page is turned where anorher piece of writing is found.
So you played? A interesting choice
Well, what are your opinions on Christmas?
If you choose to write then answer in the next page along with your own writing and place the book somewhere in the library.
I'll find it
But to answer your question. My opinions on Christmas. Christmas is the most detestable time of the year. With the forced cheer and all the smiles, the world forgets their own problems to pretend to be someone else....
That's all. There isn’t anymore wirting or words. So will you write in the notebook? Do you dare?
Only open to one, please!
No one that Henry knows or rp with me before, please!
