It's so... fat! Pets

It only occurred to Eliza last week. About not owning a pet. Almost every girl in her house did... everyone except for her. She decided that she'd try to save up. With her friends and family sending birthday money, she finally decided to take some from her pouch and bring it to diagon alley.

Her whole week she was waiting for today. She had set this day aside so that she could go and, well, buy her animal. She knew she couldn't afford some expensive pet, like a cat, or a bird, never a snake. She bet she could buy a frog, or a mouse.

The warm, summer air blew around, and Liz skipped down the road in Her T-shirt and shorts. She'd been thinking and asking her friends for name ideas for a few weeks. She purposefully told them she'd buy a very fat pet (She has a thing for fat animals). Some ideas her friends had shared were Kermit, Big Mac, Tommy, Chonker, Toast, Not too much inspiration, as she had not seen her pet yet.

Magical Menagerie was quite crowded that day. The old couple standing inside waved at her, and tended back to the people and pets at the counted. Liz looked around at the frogs. At the birds, at the cats, and the rats. She couldn't find much. Her friend suggested she should get a small frog, which in her opinion was not at all a good idea. The mice were squeaking happily, munching on pellets and lettuce. Specifically she had her eye on a certain brown rat. It's ears had a slight bit of gray on top, and it's tail was long and slender. She didn't want to be picky, all of these mice and rats were special. then again, she was still looking for one who was very bulbous.

She picked out a small cage, a water bottle, and a few treats. But what about the rat? She still hadn't found it. She was about to pick a rat with light brown and gray fur, when she saw him. The roundest, largest, most adorable rat peaked it's head out from a very empty cage. She walked over, her eyes sparkling. This one... She smiled at it. It squeaked, it's small whiskers bouncing up and down. She picked the cage up, walking up to the counter.

"Hello," She nodded at the old folks, and they smiled back, taking the cage gently out of her hands. They looked at the rat.

"Quite fat." The old man laughed. She smiled.

"Yep. I love him." She smiled.

"Yes, well. 5 Galleons." I nodded, as the old lady handed me the rat. I gave her the money.
"What'll you name him, dear?" I thought for a moment.

"Big Mac the Chunky." I smiled, booping the rats nose.

"Great." The old man said. "Here you go! Have a nice day, dearie!"
