First steps into the outside world
The day Archie got the letter from Hogwarts he was a ball of emotions. He was both excited, outrageously happy and scared at the same time. During his childhood he has never really left the comforts of the family land. The most exciting trips were when he joined his dad to go to the local farmers market to sell potatoes and buy foodstuffs for their own.
Now the time had come to leave the comforts of home and go to the renowned school of wizardry and magic: Hogwarts. The trip to London already was an adventure in itself. He was amazed at the sheer size of the city and all the people in it. When they arrived at King's Cross station the first challenge was to find platform 9 3/4. His mother knew where it was - since she had attented Hogwarts as well. But Archie insisted to find it himself. After having looking around everywhere for what seemed ages (in reality only 10 minutes had passed by) he took a break by leaning against one of the pillars between platform 9 and 10. He fell backwards and when he opened his eyes and got back up again he was suddenly in another space full of other kids getting ready to board the iconic Hogwarts Express. He kissed his mother goodbye like a good boy and promised to write her often.
He entered the carriage and looked around to find a cosy place to sit. The other children seemed intimidating at first - since he doesn't have a lot of experience with other people of his age yet. So he opted to board a compartiment that was still empty. He installed himself and already started browsing through one of his school books. The one that interested him the most, by one of his favorite explorers: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by Newt Scamander. He was curious if any other people might join him during the trip to Hogwards.

First steps into the outside world
Finally, an owl had stopped on Dalias windowsill. She opened the window and took the letter from it's beak, finally her days at Hogwarts could start. Being very enthusiastic for their daughter as well, both of her parents took some days of to go to London and buy the necessary school supplies for her to start.
Once everything was bought and the time to leave her parents had come, they left for the station. Dalia looked around eagerly, trying to find other children that might be leaving to Hogwarts when she spotted a young boy with Cinnamon colored hair leaning against the entrance wall and falling through it. Dalia quietly laughed as it looked pretty funny from her point of view. Why was he even leaning against that in the first place?
After hugging her parents and getting told several times to behave, not climb dangerous trees, be nice to everyone and write an owl every day home, Dalia finally left her parents behind on the platform and entered the train. Walking inside the carriage, she looked around and found an empty spot with someone reading a book about magical beasts. Her eyes grew wider, as she wanted to work with magical beasts once grown up. She ran up to the book and recognized the boy holding it, it was the boy that fell through the wall earlier. "Hello there, my name is Dalia. Nice to meet you" she said while holding out a hand and grinning widely. "Do you also want to learn more about magical beasts and work with them later on?"

First steps into the outside world
Archie was just reading an interesting page about Thunderbirds. Eagle-faced beasts that can create storms just as they fly by, by simply flappping their powerful wings. Apparently they live in a place called Arizone. Archie was just thinking if that place is close to Applecross, since they have lots of thunderstorms there as well. He was thinking that geography would be a useful skill to possess in his later life.
Suddenly he is pulled out of his thoughts by a girl with bright red hair and green eyes. She looks friendly enough. "Hi there, my name is Archie Morgan! And yes, that is my dream! Is it your dream as well? I was just reading about thunderbirds. Have you heard of them? Apparently they live in Arizone. But I have no idea where that is. It does sound a bit foreign. So perhaps its not situated in the United Kingdom. I guess we'll find out in the classes later!"
"Please feel free to join me in my carriage! I have no friends yet, but it would be nice to not have to spend this long train ride alone! We could talk more about fantastic beasts if you want to! Which one is your favorite? Do you have fantastic beasts where you live?"
