None of the lessons are actually obligatory, you don't have to do them to be able to graduate or so. The lessons marked as ! are 'obligatory' meaning you have to do them before being able to access the next (sorry if I'm being confusing). The lessons marked '-' are optional, meaning you can skip them and do them in whatever order you like.
