there is a few settings, but I will focus on the two main ones first!
at home: The Pallno Place is a good size, it has a Living room, Kitchen, Basement, four bedrooms and a bathroom. The house is located in Alberta, Canada. Beside the mountains, and there is also a forest that has a stream that runs along through it. The house has many people living in it, Gilmore (main character) Gilmore's Mother, Gilmore's two Sisters and Gilmore's Brother. The yard around Gilmore's house is small, even if they have no close neighbors the family has a fence to hold out the 'evil' things that lurk outside in the woods that are close to their home, the yard is filled with dirt, no grass grows at all, and if it ever did grow it soon died in the harsh soil. Gilmore's room, which is in the attic is a good size, it is sided with wood, and has a desk, a bench, a wardrobe, a bed and a stack of dirty Landry. This room also has a window on ln wall, it looks out to the forest.
Setting #2, The school grounds! the school locations is not mentioned till later in the book, and when mentioned is in many parts of the world depending on the class; but nevertheless the main part of the school is in;きれいな島々 ; Pretty Island in Japanese, a hidden group of Islands in the Asia. The school had Portholes that let Students from all over the world come, the school is split in many sections, as each student has their own special trait that they must learn, but it's main ones in this story are; the Girls' dorms, the Boys' dorms, the main Cabin, the Shops, the dinner hall, and the various classrooms and class places. The Girls' and Boys' Dorms are small cabins that are like houses, there are to many to count, and the boys' dorms or cabins as you could call them are on the opposite side of the path from the Girls' dorm, they hold Four Students at a time and each student gets their own room, Gilmore's cabin is #8 and her room is light pink with a light pink bed and a wooden desk. Cabin #8 has a bathroom, The four bedrooms (each with the student who is using it's name) a study room, a lounge room, a laundry room, and a few other rooms that are not really important.
The main Cabin is big and it sits in the middle of the School's main location. The main Cabin has a has many levels, but only a few are ever visited by Gilmore. When you first walk into the Main cabin you see a few things, one you see a lobby, it is pretty and plain at the same time, it has a desk with a clerk, the clerk that is kind and is always there. If you go to the left when you first walk in you will see that there is a door, it is made of oak, and it is heavy! If you push it open you will see three sets of stairs, two going up one going down, the one going down leads to the kitchen, where the chefs make the food for all the students and staff, this place is off bounds for any student who is not attending a cooking class at the moment that they are in the kitchen!
If you choose to go up the stair case that is on the right you will end up at the Minor Detention room, this is where Students who have done a minor offence like lying to a teacher, go. If you decide to go up the stair case on the left, you will arrive at the nurse's 'Wing' as most students call it. Now if you go to the right when you first walk in you will see another heavy Oak door, but this one has a sign on it saying any student coming in this door must have proof that they have a class or teacher's permission to enter and if you don't have one of the two opinions then you should go, now, if you do have the permission to enter then you can pish the heavy door open and be greeted by a split, this split leads to two halls, one hall takes you to the teacher's wing, and no student is aloud there! The other hall way the one on the right, will lead you to another fork in the path, the path on the right will take you to the nursery, where the babies that Enoch Ethan (A teacher his name means Teacher of Wisdom) finds and saves love till they can start school at the age of Thirteen. The Nursery is a room big enough for sixty children, babies, and toddlers. It has yellow and pink ducks painted on the walls and it also has cribs on the other wall, the cribs are all white and they all have a name tag at the end, that is the name of the child who sleeps there, on the other wall is a door, that door leads to the rooms where the children sleep. The boys in one room and the girls in the other, the rooms are big and each child is happy. The fourth wall has toys and cubbies with the kids' outdoor stuff. If you choose to go down the left path then you get taken to the never ending stair room, outside the door to the room there millions of buttons and each takes you to a new spot in the main cabin, you see each button brings a stair, and when it comes it takes you to your desired floor!
The Shops; the shops are in a small valley, they are apart of the main school grounds, there is 12 shops, all of them have things that Students need, the shops are Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Purple, blue and any other color you can think of!
The Classes; the classrooms are all different but the one that I really like and want to tell y'all about is the Farm classroom, this 'classroom' more Class is in Brazil, Each Student's Class will look a little different but Gilmore's looks like this, it is 5 Acres, one Acre has three heifers and a bull. Another Acre is lush green hay that waves in the wind! The next Acre has three horses, four goats, a bunch of chickens and some quail. This Farm is Gilmore's Farm class!

Nakusa Mellform is one of Gilmore's first and best friends at her new school, often referred to Naku, she is kind and funny, Naku is often seen as Stupid, and weird, even though she is really smart, Naku first meets Gilmore when one Gilmore's first day She finds that she forgot a raincoat, when it starts to rain -as it does every day at that time- Gilmore starts to search for the shops so she can buy a raincoat, but her map is soggy and readable, so Gilmore goes around searching for someone who knows where the shops are, after meeting the two school bullies, she finally finds Naku, who knows where the shop is, Naku tales Gilmore to the shops and ends up becoming bestfriends with Gilmore, Naku and Arisha Gilmore's other friend, have a constant battle for Gilmore's attention, and when Gilmore find her trait, is super upset because, it is not the same as her's while Naku does not care at all, half way through the school year, Jorgina and Violet have such a bad fight that Jorgina Leaves that cabin/dorm, Naku takes the chance to switch places with Jorgina and join Cabin #8, Gilmore and Naku are both in the Acting Class, and when the test comes up Naku gets worried, what if she fails? so Gilmore and Arisha work together to make a 'fake test' and test Naku, when Naku comes out of the 'Fake test' with 100% she is ready to do the test! Naku is Strong, kind, Loving and sometimes jealous of Gilmore, Even if everyone calls Naku a freak, she does not care! Naku ends up working as a actress in NYC. Naku and Gilmore are close friends even as adluts and often spend time together! Nakusa's name means Unwanted Child.

Professor Ethan ( more commonly referred to as Enoch)

Enoch Ethan, AKA Professor Ethan, is one of the first people Gilmore meets, after Aldo tells Gilmore to go to the stream, Enoch has a tendency to be late, often because of the fact that he has many jobs, Enoch is kind to every student, but he treats Gilmore with extra attention, Enoch often gives Gilmore, things, like Libby the Lizard her tank, bit while Enoch acts like he loves Gilmore, he also knows some dark things, Enoch is the person who teaches Gilmore about her family, he is the one who tells her that her mother and late father, are not her actual parents but fake parents. he is also the one who tells Gilmore her special trait, Enoch never tells Gilmore who her father or mother actually are, but in truth he knows very well, when Gilmore finds that her real mother is dead, Enoch is heartbroken, Gilmore asks Enoch if he knew her Mother and he tells her he knew her very well, Leading Gilmore to ask who her father is, she gets mad when Enoch tells her she is dumb for not knowing, he then refuses to talk to her for a while, until she understands the truth, when Gilmore finally understands ds she is mad that Enoch did not tell her, she searches up things about her father and finds out that he is three quarters Avalonian Elf, making Gilmore half Avalonian Elf, Gilmore demands that Enoch explain, and he does, making Gilmore sad and happy at the same time. Enoch Ethan's name means Teacher of Wisdom, this often makes Gilmore mad sence she thinks he is not very wise, even if she thinks this she is wrong because he is very smart!

Aldo often is the tattle tail of the school, as he runs around telling his master what every Student does wrong, and w
any love stories as well, Aldo is Hated by most everyone, other then Violet, who uses him for 'juicey' Gossip. Aldo crashes Gilmore's wedding making her and her husband hate him for life. the Pallno hate for Aldo carries on in Gilmore's two daughters in the prologue!
Aldo often calls himself 'Gilmore's boyfriend' just to bug her, and has been punched many times by Gilmore herself! Unlike most annoying people at the school Aldo likes to listen to what Students say, he is not a loud mouth, but more of a sneak About!
