Letters.  Solo   Finished
[15 VII 2018]
Ava and Xaver into the girl's backyard. She took the can of that muggle thing the boy gave her and looked at it weirdly. It was supposed to be something to drink, all the kids at her muggle-school would drink it all the time but Kate would never let her have one. At least, after she had to be home-schooled after her parents' divorce. Before her parents would forbid her from doing it. "Are you sure about this?" the girl looked at her friend, not knowing what the boy expected her to do with it. He nodded and opened his can. The boy made look it so easy Ava actually believed she could do it as well. Well, she was wrong.

The drink exploded all over her clothes. "Oh for Merlin's sake... Kate is gonna be so mad!" Ava said and gave her can to Xaver. "What now?" she asked, not really sure what to do with her wet jeans and ran off to her house nearby to change.  "W-wait!" the boy shouted after her but Ava was already halfway to the doors and entered the big building.

Ava quickly came back, changed into brand new jeans and with a glass of water in her hand. "I think I'll stick to water for now," she chuckled and sat down next to him, right in time to see two gigantic owls approach them. WHY NOW? "KATE!" she called, panicking. Xaver was a muggle, she was a witch and there couldn't be a worse time to get a letter. Her sister ran out of the building as soon as Ava yelled, just in time to see the two owls land before the two and almost had a panic attack. Ava's face was filled with fear, Xaver's with confusion, and Kate's... with bigger fear.

Kate came up to the boy with her wand. He looked more confused than ever and Ava had no idea what Kate was supposed to do and before Ava could realize it she was just supposed to cast the memory charm - Obliviate. The thing that stopped her was realizing that a. there should be one owl and b. the fact that one of the owls began to peck the boy and he tried to fight it off. Kate quickly hid her wand before the boy could see it and took the owl away from him. "WHAT IS GOING ON?!" he shouted as Kate took the owl away to see that there was a letter attached to her leg. Ava stared at the other owl for a while before taking it into her arms to also find a letter.

Kate gave Xaver one of the letters and watched Ava take hers. "Uh..." the girl said, her hands shaking as the letter fell out of her hands onto the ground. "Now what?" she whispered and picked it up. Kate quickly nodded and pushed the boy towards the house. Xaver looked like he was going to faint any minute and he was pretty easy to guide. Ava opened the envelope and started reading.

Ava hid her letter as soon as she saw the door open. Xaver walked into the backyard with a less confused and more fearful expression. "So..." he said, sitting down next to Ava. "So... What's it like being a witch?" he asked with a mix of confusion and fear on his face. Ava looked at the doors to the house to see Kate in the doors, nodding with a worried smile on her face.

Ava fainted.
