BACKSTORY Reducio Dianthe's home life was definitely complicated, or in other words, fake. It appeared that her parents cared more about their extravagance and reputation more than their own child, house parties and lavish decorating far more intriguing than what Dianthe was up to. Still, they brought her along, made her the focal point when talking to their friends as if she were a mere trophy, a display item. Dianthe relished the spotlight, though, and found it to be her only source of validation. Her parents rarely applauded her magical capabilities though, which served as a motive for her to be the best in her class. She didn't care about making them proud, rather than to prove a point. As she grew, her parents insisted that rather than private schooling, they'd keep her at home altogether. Upon appointing Miss Mariam, Dianthe was hardly regarded to by her parents. The only things they truly cared about was their reputation, and how their daughter reflected it. However, instead of focusing quite as hard on schoolwork, sneaking out became one of her hobbies instead. She didn't have many friends to sneak off to though, the area in which she lived in was rather secluded apart from the beach just a few miles down. People visited often, but they didn't stay long which broke Dianthe's hope each time she'd finally make an acquaintance. To the Cyrises, magical capability was nothing new, nor nothing to be celebrated over. The day that a young child discovered their first instance of magic, well, it was simply life. It didn't change anything, they were still wizards and would continue to be just as such. A young Dianthe being found in the library was nothing new. Cliche, perhaps, though reading was one of the young witch's past times. On rainy days especially, reading old history books by the windowsill was her favorite. However, this time she couldn't find the novel on the Salem Witch Trials despite having put it in a secure place. It was a book she had always found herself going back to, yet out of all the times she read it for some reason it had just.. disappeared. Annoyed, Dianthe began to scan each and every shelf, only to determine that it wasn't there. Some could say that her temper was irrational, and combined with the outrage of her favorite book gone, she shouted in fury. The books suddenly all flew off the shelves, spines creased and pages folded all across the large room. Yet somehow, the old dusty cover of the Salem Witch Trials lie perfect on the ground in front of her.

"All people, if given the right pressures or stimulus, are evil motherfuckers." Reserved, yet observant. Brash, yet charming. Dianthe is a rather mellow person, though can still hold her ideals in tact. Empathy seems to be something she lacks, not that she tries hard to conceal the fact either. ───────────────────── APPEARANCE Reducio A rather ordinary girl, Dianthe has never stuck out much due to her physical appearance. Considering her youth there weren't many defining features up to this point either, only her long blonde hair that appears to be turning brown as she ages. While her figure is hardly developed, she does stand on the thinner side of things. Her mother calls her eyes hazel, though Dianthe is convinced they're green. [In depth TBA]
