Here goes nothing Solo

Santario still had a hard time believing that the box sent to her wasn’t a joke being played on her, but the only person she could readily think of that could or would have done it, she had just scared the hell out of. It didn’t much matter though, she would find out the truth one way or another, and it was as easy as going to the source. Santario shoved the owlery door open with hardly a care as she dashed up the stairs taking two at a time. Thank Merlin; she still ran around the training pitch almost every day.

As she got to the top, she walked over to the nearest owl pulling some treats out of her pocket letting it eat them. “I need you to get this to Vladimir Athanatos. It should not be a long flight for you at all, but I shall return with more treats later.” She gently attached the letter, sealed with a rose in white wax, to the owl, gave him a few gentle strokes of his feathers, and then Santario was off again. After all, she had a birthday party to get to. San would need to stop in a bathroom to fix what bounding up, and downstairs had done to her appearance.
