Today's the Day  Solo   Finished

Orin Chester
Orin Chester woke up with a start. He had just had the most peculiar dream about magical creatures that seemed oddly vague in the back of his mind. It must have been the result of his ever-racing thoughts and anticipations of his future at his new school: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Orin had always known he was different, but he hadn't really realized the extent of it until the day when he somehow accidentally turned himself invisible when arriving at his preparatory school. He didn't ask to be that way; he just was.

Orin's blonde hair fell into his eyes as he sat up in his bed. He quickly brushed the strands away and fixed his gaze on all of his luggage stacked neatly in the corner of his room. He softly smiled.

Today's the day.

That was the message that kept sounding in his brain. Today was the day that he would depart on his journey to Hogwarts and become a wizard, doing magic just like his mother did. Even though he never knew his mother, he always felt like he did, since his father always told him adventurous stories of her.

Orin hopped out of bed and dashed around the corner to his father's room. "Dad!" he shouted, bursting into the room.

"What is it, Cheeky?" came his father's kind-hearted reply. He looked as if he had just finished getting ready for the day. "Is there something going on today or something?"

Orin gasped. How could he have forgotten?! Today was the day!
"Dad, it's the day I leave for school!!" The blonde boy shouted in disbelief. His father just chuckled and shook his head. The two made eye contact, and the elder winked.

Oh... he was making a joke. Haha! Orin thought happily.

"Well, Cheeky, time to get ready! Let's go!"

"Alright!" Orin grinned and ran back to his room to get ready.

Today's the day. He couldn't wait.
