The sleepover party (which, it turned out, wasn't actually a sleep over at all) had ented, and Cassie was trying her hardest not to yawn. Everyone was trickling away to their cabins to get a good (or not so good, depending on who their cabin mates were) night's sleep, but Cassie had something important to do. She hugged Scar goodnight and then hurried to catch up with the newly named Chexno, who shared a cabin and probably wanted some time alone.
Cassie Heather wasn't going to let that happen, of course. Who did they think she was? She made it her business to poke her nose into everyone else's business, especially that of her friends, and now that Charles was officially Not Single, she had a job to do.
"Wait up, lovebirds!" Ooh, there were so many new things Cassie could tease Charles about now. It was brilliant. "Charlie, I need to talk to Xeno. Like, without you here?"
If Charles didn't leave immediately (which, let's face it, is extremely unlikely), Cassie would press her point. "You can talk to your new boyfriend whenever you like, but I need to, like, make sure he's not planning to murder you. I barely know him, and that's not cool." She turned to Xeno. "You're not planning on murdering him, are you?"

The 'sleepover' and spin bottle game ended, students were gathering together and heading back to their cabins for the night.
Charles half heartily gave Scarlett a half grin and head nod before moving over and giving Cassie a hug for the night believing the girl was heading back to her cabin.
Charles smiled toward Xeno. A general smile and not his usually half grin, the blonde was glad that the two shared a cabin as he approached him. His boyfriend. The blonde smiled over to him as he spoke" hello, would you like to walk back together," Charles would then fall into step besides Xeno, smiling toward him as he looked in his blue eyes before looking into the darkness of the night.
"That was a odd night but at least something good came out of it," Charles spoke toward Xeno as he smiled toward the bit and walked looking around at the grounds around them when he asked" do you want to spend a few more minutes out here together before going into the cabins, Xeno?"
However that was when Cassie's voice was behind them and Charles looked back, still standing besides Xeno as he looked at the girl knowing almost to well that she'll tease him about this later. Not that Charles wouldn't care... he couldn't... he loved Xeno.
Charles looked at Cassie and slipped his hands in his jean pockets as he replied" you can talk to him as beauxbatons or tomorrow even Cass, currently we want some alone time," Charles smiled at Xeno before hearing Cassie's words again and turning toward her. She was pessimist.
"Xeno is not going to murder me Cass," Charles quickly replied to Cassie but didn't know how much longer he could handle Cassie's determination so he added" alright, just don't do anything extreme Cass." The blonde stared at his best friend for a moment before turning to his boyfriend; Xeno and lightly kissing him on the cheek as he took his hand. Holding it for a moment while he spoke" I'll see you in a moment then we can finish our walk, love you Xe."
Charles smiled toward Xeno then lightly and playfully ruffled Cassie's hair as he walked a few feet behind them, the blonde was out of ear shot but could still watch the two.
