Dear Katherine,

It's been some time. First off I never got to thank you at the Beckett gala, for a few minutes I was better than my brother in the eyes of my father and grandfather. All thanks to you, Kath.

Second since it's been a few months, how are you? How has your summer holiday been? How was Hogwarts? Is it as dull and filled with people who don't seem to use their brains like Dumstrang? Has anything unusual or traumatic events took place?

My summer holiday has been pleasant. Nothing notable happened, mainly I spend it training for the Dumstrang quidditch team and lessons that my grandfather wants my brother, cousins, and myself to take. Their dull as usual. Are you doing any lessons?

Wait I never told you. I made it onto the Dumstrang quidditch team as a first string chaser, finally they recognize my talent and dedication to the sport. Of course some of my team mates are questionable. Do you do quidditch or broom racing or dueling? I noticed that I never asked you before and it is rather a important question.

How is your summer holiday and the rest of your first year at Hogwarts? Did you survive or are the students there as annoying as the ones at Dumstrang? I look forward to your response, Katherine and I do hope we can wirte for the summer holiday. I need someone to save me from this boredom and figured you'll be the perfect one to do so.
