Background story: Elliot Everest was born on November 17th 2009 in Aberfeldy, Scotland.
Elliot's parents are both purebloods. Their father, William Everest, met their mother, Linda van Doorn while doing business in Amsterdam. The Everests are well-respected among the wizard community, due to Elliot's grandfather, who was an activist for muggles' and squibs' rights and to the metamorphmagus blood in their family. The Van Doorns are a rich Dutch pureblood family, having built their fortune by selling high-quality potions. After Linda moved to Scotland, they got married and had three kids: Robert, Lincoln, and Elliot. Robert is 8 years older and Lincoln is 6 years older than Elliot.
When the family moved to Stirling in 2017, Elliot was 7 and their brothers had already gone to Hogwarts. When their parents announced that they were moving over dinner, they got angry because they would have to leave their friends behind. When their father shouted at them for shouting at their mother all of their glasses broke. Their mother broke up the argument immediately and decided that they would celebrate the next day as Elliot's magic had made its first appearance.
In Stirling, they went to a new muggle elementary school (their mother insisted they'd go to one to learn about muggles), and was not welcomed into their new class. They made one muggle friend, Liz, short of Elizabeth, by standing up for her against a bully in their first week at school. From that point on they were the unpopular kids together.
Elliot has been mildly bullied during elementary school and because of that, they have given up completely on trying to fit in. They don't believe they can anymore. They got this idea because they were a pureblood wix going to a muggle school during the time their magic made its first appearances.
