History/Background Story: Abandoned by his parents soon after he was born due to a Seer predicting much shame would be brought to the family name, he was sent to live with his closest-living relative who didn’t bear the last name anymore; his widowed Fourth Cousin, Once removed. She was about middle aged, neither caring nor distant from the boy. She was there in his life without truly being there. This often left the boy on his own where he would occasionally sneak out and explore the streets of London. After getting into a verbal argument with her when she decided to drink, he was sent to his room where, in his anger, caused a fly to explode. He asked his cousin about it to which she decided to tell him about wizards. She would teach the boy over the years about the basics of what wizards are, what muggles are and said that he would probably be sent a letter to join a school in a few years. After eventually receiving his acceptance letter, she took him to buy his supplies and sent him on his way to Hogwarts via the Hogwarts express. The train ride there he would hear the other students talking about which houses they’d want to join and what it’s going to be like to learn spells. He kept to himself the whole ride, simply taking in what he heard. Eventually, his turn at the sorting hat came and he was placed in the Slytherin House.
