Goose on the loose! PV Vivian and Rachel Locked

Going out in the corridors unprepared without a wand was a bad thing. Going out in an unfamiliar place without a clue on the world where she is, is a terrible thing. Maybe even add wild geese running around the corridors, it would be a disaster right? Well, yeah it is. Rachel was still adjusting to this place they called Hogwarts when she got lost. Turning left, right, up and down the corridors she got face to face to an unusual and amusing sight.

Geese

Geese were running around the corridors and halls honking as loud as they possibly can. While some students tried to get as far away as possible to the wild ducks, the others were trying to round up the geese. But they were having tough luck though catching them. Some were jumping, running, slipping and even using various spells, hexes, and charms to stop those wild ducks. And some were looking at the geese with curiosity as it continued to make noises.

'Is this another normal day here?' Rachel thought while sweat dropping. This was going to be another interesting day for her. And maybe it was gonna be fun. Fun she says, oh how wrong was she. Seemingly lost in thought, the girl didn't notice a goose sprinting towards her. Luckily, at the last minute, she stepped out of the way while the goose simply continued on with its fabulous but noisy escape, having a student hot on its tracks.

'Right, I should try and probably help them.' She thought, tying as much hair as possible she can while getting ready for some running. This'll be quick she thought. Keyword THOUGHT. And right on time, a goose waddled into Rachel's line of sight. Making the two of them began a deep staring contest. It only lasted 5 minutes. Finally, the goose slowly blinked its black eyes and honked. A honk. A very threatening honk if I may add. And that, ladies and gentlemen, was the start of their wild goose chase.

"Come back here you little troublemaker!"

when the day has begun, Vivian thought it would be peaceful just like many other days. After doing some assignments and some babbles in between, she walked with her best friend to have lunch. Samantha was talking about something to her but nothing other than the keywords ‘sister’s boyfriend, name, bad sister’ entered her head as her eyes were focused on what was happening in front of her. Geese?, her jaw dropped a little at the sight of them, “I didn’t know we’re allowed to pet Geese”, but it didn’t look like pets, there were many. Why would anyone buy lots of geese? Or did everyone started buying goose? no chance

“Yes, you’re right and what are they doing here?” Actually Vivian didn’t hate them, She likes loud noises and the geese were flying all around which was so funny but still the honking sound scared her. The blonde could do nothing but smile slightly at her friend when she had that look on her face, she knows her friend doesn’t like animals. “Uh, are they dangerous?” as she tilted her head in her friend's direction with a confused look. Her love towards animals doesn’t mean she goes near dangerous one.

Glancing around, she noticed some running away and some trying to catch it, catch it? but for what? “I don’t think it’s a pet, who would buy these many geese? No one would!... unless they’re going to do geese farming” she shook her head. The sound of a honk nearby distracted her to look in that direction, a girl she never saw before was being shouted at by a goose. That’s not fair of the goose, she shouldn’t do this to innocent human beings, “Don’t be rude! I know you’re a good girl, calm down” looking at the goose, she smiled.

Talking to animals was one of Vivian’s nature, she talks to them just like she’s talking to any other person and sometimes she talks with them more than she would talk to people. Gesturing to the people who were catching the geese “Uh, why are they- and you catching them?”, she shrugged with a confused smile. She had no idea what’s going on, just when she’s leaving for break, there are plenty of geese in front of her but this was secretly exciting.

"I hope they aren't dangerous!" A scared look appeared in Samantha's eyes. Maybe they were just like the spiders, those scary dangerous shadowy spiders. The young girl quickly got her wand out of her schoolbag, as she was frightened by the idea of the spiders.

With her wand ready the girl examined the animals. The geese didn't look that dangerous, at least not as dangerous as those spiders who cursed students. "Yes, I don't think it is a pet either, I have no idea why anybody would want a pet goose." The young girl shrugged, "But to be honest, I don't get why anybody would want a toad and people still have them. You are right Viv, only people who are starting a geese farm need this many."

The brunette looked around, in contrast with what she first thought there were more geese than just one. She had been to busy talking and thinking about herself to notice all the geese around her. Now that Sam took a closer look around her, she could also see multiple students trying to catch the geese.

But not all students were trying to catch the geese, one (Rachel Davis) seemed to be having a staring content with one geese. Samantha had no idea how that would help, but she found it very amusing. After the goose had honked at the girl, it seemed like the chase had started.

"Come back here you little troublemaker!" The girl who had been staring at the goose chased her goose. Vivian was trying to figure out what happened and asked it to the girl.

After Samantha had watched the other students, she decided it was time to join the goose hunt. She had needed an idea on how to catch them, running after them didn't seem to work, maybe she could use magic. Samantha wished that she had the same equipment as the ghostbusters, but then not for ghost but for geese. She wanted to have the same car, but then with a goose on the side instead of the ghosts. She wanted to have the same backpacks as the ghostbusters, but she had to do it with her wand.

"Hey!" She smiled at Vivian and Rachel, "Care to join the goosebusters?" Samantha smiled, instead of the ghostbusters they will be the goosebusters. The young girl gasped, she had an amazing idea!

The young girl started to hum the theme of ghostbusters and sang (badly):
"If there is something strange around the school,
Who ya gonna call?
GOOSEBUSTERS
If it's somethin' weird an it don't look good
Who ya gonna call?
GOOSEBUSTERS"

She had changed the lyrics of the theme song from her favorite movie a little so it would fit the situation a bit more. They weren't hunting for ghosts, they were hunting for geese. Samantha hoped that the other girl knew the song and would have joined in. She finished her beautiful song with yelling: "I AIN'T AFRAID OF NO GOOSE!" With a brig grin and her wand, she was ready to get those goose back were they belonged.

Getting distracted, she was asked by a girl, presumably a second year who is a goose whisperer (or an animal whisperer), why people were trying to catch geese. Rachel sweat dropped. Actually, to be fair, she herself also doesn't have any clue but she just joined in to make herself useful for once.

"Well... Erm, I dont know exactly? I just saw a bunch of people trying to catch them and just thought, for the heck of it, to join." Smiling a little. What she said wasn't any helpful as to why there were geese everywhere but hey, what will she say? A bunch of geese just appeared because there was a spell gone wrong?

Hearing a "Hey" she looked to the source of the sound to see another girl the same age as the other one that she met a while ago. "Care to join the goosebusters?" Rachel smiled at that. She was familiar to muggle movies and the ghostbuster was one of her favorite movies.

The girl started singing the theme song but changed the ghostbuster to goosebuster. Smiling and joining in, Rachel sang, "I ain't 'fraid of no goose. I ain't 'fraid of no goose" she wished she had her wand with her but oh well. After the other girl finished her singing, Rachel looked at the unoccupied geese and started catching them.

This'll be a long day.

“So do I” Vivian mumbled to Samantha but was still not certain about that. In her 12 years of existence on this planet, she has not met with any geese and only has seen them in photos and such. It was not that the geese frightened her off, she was just thrilled through looking at these many cuties geese surrounded her at the same time.
"Yes, I don't think it is a pet either, I have no idea why anybody would want a pet goose." "But to be honest, I don't get why anybody would want a toad and people still have them. You are right Viv, only people who are starting a geese farm need this many."
she heard Sam say that. Vivian couldn’t concur with her friend’s point of view, she reckons every creature is unique and deserves respect and appreciation for their uniqueness. Yet she didn’t want to say it out loud, basically scared that would make her friend hate her or worse, what if she get hurt by her words. She would rather zip her lip rather than offend her friend.

The blonde couldn’t do anything but chuckle as she heard the girl’s reply. What she said clearly wasn't of any help but still joining them felt to be a good idea for the blonde, even though she couldn’t figure out what was happening, “Do you think that the professors are aware of this?”, she shrugged, glancing at Samantha and the probably first year girl. The young girl smiled and raised her eyebrows when her friend gasped, “Goosebusters? Sure!” she giggled and joined the girl’s by singing enthusiastically (and of course poorly) “GOOSEBUSTER” wherever required as she didn’t remember the lyrics. Tho she had a wand with her, she wanted to try if she could catch those beauties without using it, that is to catch in a muggle way. Squinting her eyes, she strode in the direction of a goose in silence trying not to scare the goose which might result in flying away before she could catch it.

Luckily both of the other girls knew the theme song of her favorite movie. If they hadn't Samantha would have embarrassed herself and it would mean that the other girls had no knowledge about the important things in life. Samantha's dad had first shown her the movie and she had fallen in love with it. She had watched it almost 10 times already.

After the amazing song Samantha turned her attention to the geese. She had sang she wasn't scared of them, but she was a little. She had watched as other students were trying to approach the geese, only to have the corridors fill with dangerous flapping wings and loud honking sounds.

She went over spells in her head, which spells did she know that could be of use in this situation. The first thing that came into mind was the levitating charm. It was quite a handy spell, maybe one of the best if you asked Sam. Of course, lumos was better, but that wouldn't do anything in this situation. She could lift the goose up with the spell and let somebody else catch it, that way the goose couldn't run away.

The young girl went over the wand movement in her head, she didn't want to fail her spell. She walked to the goose that was the closest to her, still keeping a safe distance. The goose was grey and didn't seem to be to happy with Samantha's presents.

"Wingardium Leviosa"

Sam watched the goose starting to float. It would have been smarter if she would have told the other girls her idea, because she couldn't catch the goose on her own. "Vivian! Or-" Sam wanted to yell the other girl, but she didn't know her name. Samantha decided to improvise. "Goosebusters I need your help! Catch this flying goose for me, if you will." With a stretched arm and a concentrated face Samantha tried to keep the goose in the air.

Looking around, she saw a bunch of geese floating and half of them were chilling while the others were running on air. If she was only a passer by, she'd have definitely found this amusing and would stay for a minute or two to watch those struggling geese and students. But she had an unspoken obligation to help catch them on behalf of the suspect that brought geese in Hogwarts in the first place, thinking it'll be a good pet. Getting told to capture the said geese, Rachel was already on it. She haven't introduced herself yet to the two but she'll do it later. Right now, they have a honking problem in their hands.

Approaching slowly to the goose floating backwards, she almost caught her first duck but then was bumped by 2 other students who seems to be chasing a goose of their own while talking about this phenomenon. Overhearing their conversation, Rachel muttered, "Untransfigure? Ducks? Furniture?" Seemingly having a lit up lightbulb on top of her head, she turned to the other two members of goosebusters while finally getting ahold of a struggling honking goose.

"I think I know what happened here. Do any of you know how to untransfigure?" She didn't have her wand with her so the only thing that she can do is catch them geese and hope someone can turn them into their original form before the ducks go crazy and attack more.
