Having no parents at the house at the moment, Edward slunk home. He was to return home after school ended. But Edward didn’t see his parents anywhere. His friends were gone as well. The boy was extremely morbid, but he saw a form of “life” as he walked through the unique corners of his home. His parents and his friends not being there, was an odd encounter, but it was nothing awkward as he has been away from them for a little while at Koldokserv.

The house was a mess on the outside, garden ornaments everywhere, rocks and glass scattered across the yard, the road was never patched up as little trees popped up through the cracks. The cool white paint peeled to reveal a hideous shade of brown paint. The exterior of the door was a wooden door that was cracked and on its hinges that was held on by leather straps. The screen door was barely even keeping out mosquitoes as the holes in the screen itself was bigger than Edward’s hand. But when you walk inside, the door looks like a normal metallic door from the inside, no cracks on it at all.

The living room was enormous, his parents may have been normal… for a wizard. But they were important in a way. They hired some special wizards to fix up their house, but his parents fell short on galleons so the exterior wasn’t done. The interior was very impressive though. Inside the living room was Edward’s favorite, western themed decorations and furnitures. The legs of all the couches and chairs were wooden and carved to the shape of a tree. The leather of the seats was in either a cow hide or a horse leather.

Edward rubbed his hand softly on the hide, the fur of the seat was so soft, he smiled. It seemed fate was finally smiling at him, the Koldov incident was horrible. Seventeen deaths. That should’ve never happened. He walked into the kitchen to grab some venison jerky and looked up at the ceiling. The light supplying for the entire living room and kitchen, as well as the dining room, was a handmade wagon wheel that stretched to a total of twelve feet and on each spoke was three dangling candles. On the seven spokes within the circle were ordered in shades of colors in the rainbow spectrum. Edward had friends from the LGTBQ+ group but he wasn’t a big supporter of it. He had a crush on a girl.
