It was finally her birthday. Selina was turning thirteen and was extremely excited, she had nicknamed her party the birthday surprise despite it not even being a surprise Selina had planned it all herself.
She had sent a few invites out, and was hoping that her crush @Paige Grant, might attend of course she was making Paige go but Selina wanted to tell Paige about her feelings.
She would say she would tell Paige but she would freeze up and not know what to say. Anyway back to the party Selina thought.
Welcome everyone, to my birthday party! It isn't much but for me it took a lot of planning, I hope you have a great time, if you have anything to ask just say. We will be having a little dance party later on sorry if you think it's a bit childish! Anyway enjoy have a great time everyone!
Selina told everyone hoping that everyone would have a brilliant time.
Only a few people were there at the moment not everyone had arrived but she thought she would tell everyone that to make sure they knew.
Selina walked around and sat down, alone in the secret area. It wasn't very secret anyone could come, she was munching on her homemade sausages and was groaning in delight on how delicious they were.
When Selina was planning she thought that some people might find the party childish but she didn't care what they thought this was a party Selina was going to enjoy.
But there was something wrong. Selina was a bit upset as she had recieved the news that her grandmother had passed away on the fourth of August, two days before Selina's birthday and she had always been there at Selina's parties but she felt determined to enjoy this party, but she felt too sad to go out and party despite it being her own party.

It's ok Selina, your grandmother would want you to have a great time not sitting here alone come on Selina, this isn't you come and dance with me and tell me all about that crush of yours.
Lovanna said kindly to Selina pulling her up and taking her out of the tent to the dance floor. #
