Welcome to Wolves United For Student Werewolves
A cry to all the werewolves out there. Whether you embraced your wolf nature or not, come join our cult group to meet new people to rp with, discuss the struggles and benefits of being a werewolf with, and embrace both sides of yourself. You didn't have a choice to be a werewolf but best make the most of it now that you are one of us.

IC

Not all werewolves want their identity known to the public so please note that IC, this club is not known to the public and is a secret to majority of Hogwarts. Not all werewolves want people to know about their secret so please do not talk about Wolves United IC to someone who isn't in the club. In short, the first rule of the club is that you don't talk about Wolves United. However, if you do then a item of your will go missing or a orange cat will leave a dead rodent in your bed.

OOC

Majority of our club activity will happen OOC. We have a discord server and are in constant communication with each other by owls. The club is a great way/place to get to know other werewolves, development characters, and plan RPs. This is rather helpful for planning threads in the shrieking shack, but also great for other forums as well. When something is about major events then we will use both owls and discord to reach everyone. Wolves run as a pack so no one is left behind.

What are your thoughts about being a werewolf (ic): It's part of life. It a freedom you can get no other way.

What are your thoughts about being a werewolf (ic):
There's a lot I don't understand about it still. I have an aunt, Maysie who is one in fact and she seems terribly lonely; and I understand that somewhat. My parents talk about it more like it is a disease, than anything else, and I get how dangerous it is to others, and I really don't want to be a danger to others.

But I'd also like to stop feeling like it's a sickness. I don't want to feel terrible about it forever.

That... rush that you get when the moon is full and bright is nice. But dangerous, or so my parents keep telling me. So it's better to keep it all locked up. But I don't really know any werewolves other than Aunt Maysie, and we haven't talked since... well, for a while.

How do you feel about the prejudice about werewolves at Hogwarts and in the wizarding world (ic):

I don't like it. I think that werewolves can be safe if you follow all the rules; but I get why people are afraid.

I think it leaves werewolves terribly lonely and isolated, and I don't think that's very good. I wish people were more trusting and thoughtful of werewolves, but I don't know how to change it, either.

Being part of the club, we hope to tackle the isolation that wolves can feel, and explore and maybe even alter the prejudices they face, at least here at Hogwarts.

What are your thoughts about being a werewolf (ic): I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it. It's so lonely and it h u r t s and the shack has been getting so cold. I'm so tired of having to make up excuses about disappearing every full moon.
How do you feel about the prejudice about werewolves at Hogwarts and in the wizarding world (ic):My parents have just been...dancing around the issues, avoiding it. I haven't seen my best friend, the one who scratched me, in nearly four months. I got an owl after I first turned with my parents saying they got a cage for me for the summers. I'm so tired. I don't know how I'm gonna deal with this as an adult. I read up on some famous werewolves. Did you know that after he was outed, Remus Lupin was unable to get a job until he died? I just...don't know how I'm going to live with this. And I really miss paris.

What are your thoughts about being a werewolf (ic):

I've always found it to be unfair. However foolish, it's seemed like a childish thought for years. It's like, why was I the one who had to have it? Couldn't it have been the next person? Someone that wasn't me? It's hard. I would trade it for anything else. Like, anything. Plus, it's super draining when the full moon rolls around, and it's really tiring when I get back, and it's hard to make up reasons as to why I'm not at school for a few days, and all the others. It just makes me feel like one of the unlucky ones.

How do you feel about the prejudice about werewolves at Hogwarts and in the wizarding world (ic):

I think it's understandable to fear the werewolf, but fearing (or even hating) the person behind the werewolf is plain wrong. If full humans can be equal, I don't see why werewolves can't be the same when they aren't under the influence of the full moon. It's okay to be afraid, but going so far as to hating a genuine human being? That's simply absurd. Most of my foster houses were fairly good about my being a werewolf, considering they sort of had to, but at times it felt like they just saw a werewolf rather than an actual person.
