This Feels Like Déjà Vu
Cash could not remember when was the last time the green eyes stepped into this room. Between classes, Quid matches and practices, the never ending pile of school works and family issues; one of the Beater's long time hobbies which is sat and played a tune behind a piano sometime got forgotton.
But not today. Today Cash decided to walked - more like climbed that many stairs - all the way from the deepest of the Castle which where the Slytherin house located up to the fourth floor, which is the Rehearsal Room. Cash was hoping by the time they arrived at the room, there's no one using the room.
Even if someone using the room, Cash could easily evicted the other person by all means necessary. As they arrived at the Rehearsal Room, Cash was glad that the room was empty. Directly they made their way to where the piano placed inside the room. Since dinner will roll in a few hours, Cash decided to play one of their favorite repertoire.
The Cuban descendant took a seat on the leather plush piano chair. Their hands and fingers parked poise on to of the black and white keys of the piano. Today Cash decided to play a little piece called River Flows In You. From the first time Cash had played that pieces back at Ironwoods Manor, that particular song also their parents favorite.
As the first tune rang out filled the Rehearsal Room, Cash automatically closed their eyes. They let the music flow out of them. This is why the green eyes love music so much. Sometimes a song does not had to have a good lyric in it. Just a beautiful piece of melody and let the music speaks for you. Their fingers expertly glide and slide on top of the keys.
Cash could feel hot tears burning behind their closed eye - lids. The young socialite know if they opened their eyes, the tears of longing will betrayed them as the rebel tears slide down on their cheeks but Cash open their eyes despite everything. The music and melody still flow from their fingers and filled up the empty space.
The young Ironwoods smile to themselves albeit it is laced with sadness. "This one for you, dad"Cash said in their mother tongue which is Spanish to no one in particular as the melody still filled and rang out inside the room. It also has been a while too that Cash addressed their father with word of 'dad' instead of 'father' for their father.

This Feels Like Déjà Vu
#274782 Blue = English, #a62b2b Red = KoreanEun-ji was in a relatively good mood today. It was finally weekend and she finished all her homework, which meant she had time to unwind. Unfortunately, it was raining so she couldn’t go outside and paint. “Well, might as well go and practice ballet then.” She decided quickly. The young Ravenclaw had summer full of ballet but she would never have enough of it. She had also received a letter from Mrs. Hunt recently, asking about the duelling club situation, which made her feel like she was rebelling in a way. Childish whim…as if! She remembered her grandmother’s harsh words. She was being bitter and she was slowly getting familiar with said emotion. Many things made her bitter of late and as long as Hunts remained in her life, she would probably continue feeling that way. “Stay here Mordred. I’ll take you with me next time.” She bid a short goodbye to her furry companion. The ballerina needed to break in her new pointe shoes and noise would only annoy the cat.
Walking through the castle corridors, Eun-ji was still getting used to her new wardrobe. The clothes were obviously expensive and therefore comfortable yet it felt somewhat foreign on her body. She looked fashionable and some of the outfits were definitely eye-catching, which was probably what her grandmother intended, but the young witch didn’t want attention. She wanted to be left alone. Perhaps they make me look unapproachable at least. She mused as she was walking towards the ballroom. Paired with her perfect posture and smooth walk, she could probably pass as confident, borderline arrogant. Eun-ji wouldn’t mind too much. She used to hope for friends, now she was honestly scared to have any. The girl shook her head. No sense in thinking about that now. This is precisely why she needed to clear her head.
Much to her disappointment however, the ballroom looked positively full today. Probably due to the bad weather. As the door opened, several heads turned her way, freezing and staring. This also didn't use to happen before. When she was still wearing her comfortable clothes she could pass by entirely unnoticed or if they did notice, it was but a fleeting look. Unfortunately, the new clothes and jewellery meant she stood out. I don't like this, The witch thought but one could never guess as much from her face. She was good at keeping her composure. Many things would be different in her life now, she had to make peace with that over the summer. Were the same situation occur the previous two years, she would apologise for disturbing, perhaps even bow politely before leaving yet surprisingly that instinct was gone now. This was a public place if she wanted, she could even join them in the room but the thing was...she didn’t. She wanted to practice in peace. And so she wordlessly turned around and changed her target destination.
The rehearsal room. Eun-ji tended to avoid it most of the time. Last time she changed her plans and ended up there, it resulted in a very unpleasant experience. Now Elspeth was gone but she still couldn’t quite shake that memory. That was then…she reminded herself, as she was getting closer. Oh? She knew that melody. A River flows in you. A lovely piece she liked to listen to often. If she could play piano, this would surely end up in her repertoire. Alas, she could not. Perhaps she could ask the person playing to accompany her dancing though. No, there is no need to make new friends. "On the contrary, love is a weakness. The more people you care about, the weaker you are.” Once again, her grandmother’s poisonous words echoed through her mind. Nevertheless, Eun-ji wanted to dance and she was still as curious as any Ravenclaw and so she half opened the door without much hesitation.
Well, whomever she expected to see, this wasn’t it. Cassandra Ironwoods. A strange wave of déjà vu washed over Eun-ji’s body. “Aish.” Similar to “damn” in Korean She cursed under her breath. It was quiet enough so they wouldn’t hear but it helped her vent some of the frustration at least. This was a peculiar situation. The Ravenclaw still had some unresolved feelings about this particular classmate but she had nowhere else to go. They probably don’t even remember me. She reminded herself. This of course resulted in even more frustration. Although…Are they crying? It sure looked like they were. Unexpected but what did she know? Everybody had their own burdens to carry and Cassandra probably thought they were alone. Well…here goes nothing. “Excuse me,” she said as she finally made her way through the door. Usually, she would prefer much quieter approach but in this case, that would mean more embarrassment for the brunette. Eun-ji honestly wasn’t sure whether that was just an old habit of being considerate towards others or whether she just wanted to spare herself some uncomfortable moments. “I’ll just use the corner over there.” She informed Cassandra as she started walking towards her destination, sincerely hoping they would leave it at that. Eun-ji would be happiest if she could just keep avoiding this Slytherin in particular. Preferably until they both graduated.

As the last tune rang out and filled the room, Cash closed their eyes. Their fingers and hands still laid poise on top of the black and white key. They bowed their head and a tear betrayed them as the tear rolled down on their cheek and hit the keys. The green eyes should have known better. Playing that particular song definitely will bring heartache for them.
Though Cash knew the outcome of playing that sonh, they still played it anyway. The Cuban descendant never good when it comes down expressing one feelings. They always conveyed it either in music or songs. Cash took a deep breath and open their eyes. The heaviness that they felt still linger in the deepest pit of their chest but the young Ironwoods chose to buried it deep.
The green eyes was ready to play another song, this time in much happier melody but then a second voice that did not belong to them filled the room. The other voice greeted them in such polite way. She also said that she will just used one of the Rehearsal Room's corner. The Beater turned around to their intruder.
Cash looked at the other girl intently. From what she wears, Cash could see either the other girl came from Pureblood family or she has an exquiste taste when it come down to clothes and jellewery. "This room is occupied"Cash said as their way to greet the polite girl and quickly wipe their tears.
"Why don't you come back preferly much much later when no one using the room"Cash added. Their tone was harsh and if their mother or father ever heard Cash said in that way, both of the young socialite parents will be very dissapointed of them. A Pureblood must show their etiquette and mannerism wherever they may be their father once said.
But Cash definitely will be care less if the way they say it hurt the other or not. What the Beater care is how long the girl was in the room or did she saw that Cash cried over a simple yet beautiful melody because they were missing their father. Cash hated it when people saw them crying, For Cash tears is a sign of weakness.
"From all the room in this castle has, you choose this place"They expressed. "If you want to do your practice or whatever hell you planning to do, there's Ballroom for that"They shot dagger to the other girl. Sure the Rehearsal Room is a public place and anyone can use it but Cash did not like when someone interrupted their personal time and invaded their space.

#274782 Blue = English, #a62b2b Red = KoreanEun-ji took a deep breath to calm herself down. She was good at that…she could handle this. Once she was sure her expression remained well composed, she turned around to face Cassandra. Obviously, hoping to avoid any confrontation with them was asking too much. They were precisely the kind of person she perceived them to be the first time they met. Entitled and selfish. Sure, there was most likely more going on underneath the surface but Eun-ji was past that point where she cared. She spent 13 years of her life trying to figure out every single person just so she wouldn’t hurt them undeservedly yet with the Hunts barging into her life, the witch could feel herself changing. It was exhausting way to live and if recent developments taught her anything, it was that others were unlikely to do the same for her. I should just focus my efforts on those who deserve them. Cassandra unfortunately didn’t seem to qualify.
Many people snapped at her in the past for no apparent reason and usually Eun-ji wouldn't have taken the bait. She knew leaving would be the most reasonable solution but for once, she didn't want to be reasonable. Art and Ballet were the two things she tended to turn to when she was feeling down and the Slytherin was currently standing between her and the only thing that could soothe her nerves. It was obvious they were going through something as well and probably wanted privacy but the raven-haired girl didn't feel too guilty. After all, she didn’t seem to care even when she drove poor Elspeth to have a panic attack so why should she care about her well-being now? Had they asked nicely, she might have complied with the request but not like this. This kind of behaviour reminded her of her aunt. The little smirk that showed on Eun-ji's face for a moment before she started speaking was a result of precisely that. This was her usual expression and attitude when dealing with said woman. "Funny..." she looked around the room. "I don't see your name anywhere." As she said this, the young Ravenclaw set down her bag, making it clear she was not going anywhere. "And in any case I will be busy much much later. This time suits me just fine."
It was a strange feeling, being rude to someone like this. Her upbringing was fighting her urge to let go but a small part of her enjoyed it. It was new and quite confusing but she didn't have time to ponder about it. What would grandma think if she heard me right now? She wondered briefly. Nothing... She can't think about anything anymore and grandpa wouldn't care either. After all, last time she saw him, he didn't really recognise anyone so he wouldn't care either way. She could hope moving him to the sanatorium like her father intended would help and he might remember his granddaughter next summer but she didn't dare to hope too much. Life was full of surprises as of late but none of them seemed to be particulary good. Right now, she was just glad her inner turmoil didn't show on her face. "Strange.... Last time I was here, you didn't seem to mind being surrounded by several people. In fact, I remember you quite enjoyed it." Unlike Elspeth....
So far, Cassandra gave no indication as to whether she remembered that day or not. Eun-ji somehow doubted it yet she wished she was wrong. It was one of the worst days at Hogwarts for her then best friend and it would feel extremely unfair if they didn't even remember it.

It seems the other girl did not care or maybe she did not get the memo that Cash does not want her to be around the green eyes. The young socialite saw a glimpse of Eun-ji smirk but they could be wrong about it. "Funny..."she said as she looked around the room.
"I don't see your name anywhere"Eun - ji expressed and then she set down her bag, making statement that she was not going anywhere as she stood her ground. "And in any case I will be busy much much later. This time suits me just fine"Concluded the raven haired Ravenclaw. Cash pursed their lips. Clearly, the girl was not going anywhere.
And to be honest, Cash was not in the mood to pick a fight with the other girl over silly thing like whose get more rights to use this very room but as a Pureblood kid, Cash had big ego and they will not go down without a fight.
The mockery and sarcasm that Eun - ji spewed directly to the young Ironwoods did not escape Cash. The beater then stood from where they situated and walked toward the to the other girl. Cash itched to just picked Eun - ji's bag and just throw it out of the room. But Cash had more class then that. They stared down Eun - ji for a brief moment.
They felt like they had met the girl before but with so many students milling around Hogwarts, their faces become blur or some of them almost identical with one another. The green eyes still trying to wrecked their brain to remembered the other girl until Eun - ji said something.
"Strange.... Last time I was here, you didn't seem to mind being surrounded by several people. In fact, I remember you quite enjoyed it"Eun - ji stated. the Cuban descendant still trying to remember the other girl but for the love of Merlin, they can not remember her. "Last time?,"Cash inquired Eun - ji as one of their eyebrow raised.
"I do not believe we ever met before today"Cash said to Eun - ji. The beater was bad with faces and names of the people that did not have important meaning in their life. If you fell into Cash's catagory that did not matter to them, then you did not appeared a bit in their radar. "And cut with the attitude"Cash remarked it with sassed.
"I never met you and yet you being this hostile to me"They added. "What did I ever do to you?"Cash getting more and more annoyed with this rich wannabe kid. "And just a tip, the assemble that you choose to wear today, will not fool anyone"Cash looked at Eun - ji up and down, sizing her.
"Do not try to be something your not. It did not suit you"Their word filled with sarcasm and venom."Sho! Get lost!!"Cash stated as they try to evicted Eun - ji from their sight. "You getting on my nerves and to be frank, you are an annoying human being"The young socialite said as they bend down and pick Eun - ji's bag up.
"You can exit the same way you come in, please and thank you"They shoved the bag into Eun - ji a bit hard then they intended, wishing the other girl get their memo to get out from the room and just left the young Ironwoods alone.

#274782 Blue = English, #a62b2b Red = KoreanThis witch was really getting on her nerves. So now I am the rude one? Eun-ji barely stopped herself from snorting at the implication. "Well I'm sorry, I thought this was your idea of being polite." She remarked instead. Because Cassandra treated her nothing but rude ever since she opened the door. Eun-ji was ridiculously patient person but this particular Slytherin seemed to bring out the worst in her. They just always knew what to say to get under her skin. Like their remark about her clothes and pretending to be someone, she was not. Well, she was not pretending per se but it was true that the clothes felt rather alien to her. Still, she had no choice...it was either this or going around naked sooo... "I see...so you don't remember me yet you also know me well enough to say I'm pretending to be someone I'm not? " Eun-ji asked, tilting her head a bit as if she was genuinely interested. Spoiler alert, she was NOT. "You must truly excel in Divination classes." She was also aware about how sarcastic she must have sounded to her classmate but Eun-ji couldn't stop herself from doing so. She was feeling on edge for quite some time now and it was really hard to keep her outstanding grades in such mindset. It was time to let herself forget the troubles. At least for couple moments and Cassandra was standing in her way of doing so. It was obvious, they felt like she was the rude one here when in fact, it was pretty mutual. The Ravenclaw only had an old grudge to add on top of everything that was currently happening. A grudge they did not even remember.
Of course, they don't remember. It was someone else suffering on that day. It was probably highly unmemorable moment for the Slytherin. They didn't care then so why should Eun-ji care whether they were feeling under weather today? They clearly didn't give a damn about her needs now or Elspeth's feelings then. The Ravenclaw thought as she watched Cassandra pick up her bag. How dare they touch my stuff?! The raven haired girl was instantly reminded of her grandmother who threw out all her clothes without permission and of her aunt who stole and burned her whole sketchbook. So much hard work...gone...just like that. She didn't like the move and she allowed herself to frown a little. Thankfully, this time her stuff was promptly returned to her though not in a way Eun-ji appreciated. Her balance was nearly perfect by now due to the many years of ballet training so she didn't stumble but the force made her step back a little. Why was there always someone pushing her? She hated that too.
That's it. I officially hate this one. Eun-ji finally decided. She clutched her bag but didn't move to follow Cassandra's wish order. She was done following orders. She did that throughout the whole summer. Hogwarts was her escape and she refused to give in. "Or what? You gonna tell your daddy on me?" The Ravenclaw asked. If she wasn’t mistaken Cassandra came from a pure blood family. That's what these people did right? Let their “powerful” parents handle them everything on a silver platter. Always putting themselves and their children first. "Well unfortunately for you...you don't own this room. Any student can use it and if you want to be alone find a place that is not frequently used by others. It's really not that hard to figure out."

There was a silenced for a moment after Cash roughly shoved Eun - ji's bag toward the rightful owner. The green eyes was ready to head back toward where the piano situated in the Rehearsal Room until another voice rang out and filled the room. "Well I'm sorry, I thought this was your idea of being polite"The annoying girl chimed in.
The Cuban descendant rolled their eyes while their back turned. After that, they turned around again and face the infuriating girl. "Dios mío! (my god) why are you still here? I thought I made myself clear when I shoved that bag at you for you to get lost"They said wishing Eun - ji already gone from their face.
But it seems Eun - ji had another plan. Her plan is to annoyed the hell out of Cash. If she planning that way, two can play the same game. But Cash hated confrontation even though right at this moment Cash was the one that started the whole deal. The green eyes about to tell Eun - ji she can have the room for herself but they did not like the tone that Eun - ji used at them.
"I see... so you don't remember me yet you also know me well enough to say I'm pretending to be someone I'm not?"She asked directed it to the Beater while tilting her head. Cash gritted their jaw, trying to control their ever growing anger for the annoying girl. "You must truly excel in Divination classes"Eun - ji added.
The sarcasm that poured out from the Ravenclaw did not escaped Cash. The young Ironwoods tried to be the bigger person by trying to ignored the way how Eun - ji spoke to them but Cash could not hold their anger much longer. "Well,"Cash spoke up as calmly as they possibly could but Cash was not a patient person to begin with.
"I know a pureblood when I see one. Called it a pureblood radar or whatever"They continued. There was no such thing as Pureblood radar but at this point, their logical was out of the window. "Like I said, the way you dressed no matter how hard you try will not fool anyone"They repeated what they said.
"And sorry that I break it down for you, you are not one of them"Cash stated while looked at Eun - ji up and down, sizing her then they scoffed as if they are disgusted with how hard Eun - ji tried to show that she belong in that high society class. Maybe Cash was out of the line this time but they care less about it.
"Seriously, get lost"At this point Cash was in the verge of wanting to just punch Eun - ji for her to get the helll out of the room. Violence will never be a solution to dispersed certain situation. You are a Pureblood and Pureblood solved their problem with dignity and words not with fist that what Cash's mother once told them.
In the young socialite's book sometimes to quickly end an argument was not with words and let the violence pour out. Cash's anger slowly subsided but Eun - ji decided to make the matter become much worse by alluded the one thing Cash did not like to talk about. Even to their own mother. That sensitive topic is regarding their father.
"Or what? You gonna tell your daddy on me?"Eun - ji enquired the snake. Cash's green eyes ablazed with fury. At this point Cash's patient toward the other girl reached their boiling point. "Don't"Cash warned Eun - ji. Their chest moved up and down and you can hear how hard Cash tried not to blow up and attacked Eun - ji like they wanted to.
"Do not bring my father into this, you filth,"They said between gritted teeth. "And second of all, Ha! the joke's on you"They continued. "My father was dead!"Cash told Eun - ji out of anger. The green eyes did not know why they yelled out to stranger the one thing that they swore they never spit it out.
It seems Eun - ji pushed their button and she succeeded at that matter. There was a voice in the back of their head that sound like their father saying Cash showing too much emotion and it make them weak.
"Well unfortunately for you, you don't own this room. Any student can use it and if you want to be alone find a place that is not frequently used by others. It's really not that hard to figure out"It is what the Eagle said to Cash. The Cuban descendant looked at Eun - ji from head to toe. "You are right, how very clever or you"They mocked the other girl.
"You know what, I gave up"Cash continued. "You can have this room all for yourself. As the stable out of the two of us, I will back down for now. And beside I have somewhere else to be than in this room wasting my time to an unworthy person"The way Cash said it, it dripping with sarcasm.
The Slytherin Beater than started walking toward the door. Before they exited the room, Cash turned around and see the aspire Ballerina. "I hope we would not see each other again, which I am sure we would not meet again. So, have a nice life or whatever, I do not care"The young socialite throw they infamous smirk at Eun - ji then walked out the door.
Need one more post from Eun - ji then this thread will be marked as finished.
CASH LEFT THE THREAD.

#274782 Blue = English, #a62b2b Red = KoreanEun-ji never thought she would ever make an actual enemy but the longer she spoke with Cassandra the more she saw them as one. It took mere minutes of just being around each other for the conversation to get dangerously heated. The young Ravenclaw almost didn’t recognize herself. Sure she got a bit rougher around the edges during the summer but this was a whole new level even considering that.
”I know a pureblood when I see one…” Eun-ji actually scoffed at that. They couldn’t have been more wrong, although it occurred to her that this was precisely what her grandmother wanted to achieve. She didn’t change her whole wardrobe just to represent the Hunts well but to give out the pure blood vibes as well…and it obviously worked. This was really pissing her off. That woman always achieved whatever she wanted and it was just not fair. “Well good…” she remarked once Cassandra spat out that she would not fool anyone. If they thought that would be an insult to her, they were horribly wrong…again. Still, that didn’t mean their jabs stung any less. Eun-ji truly hated the situation she was currently in but she was also too stubborn to give up.
It didn’t take long before the raven-haired witch hit a sensitive spot as well. To be fair she didn’t even try to do that. She was just poking into stereotypes without really thinking about it too much but it looked like she accidentally found Cassandra’s weakness. "My father was dead!" This did make the Ravenclaw pause for a second. She didn’t enjoy hurting anyone especially when it came to family matters but at this point she was far too gone. It was not even that she enjoyed it. No, not at all. But it actually reminded her her own loss. To someone it may have been a weak comparison…grandma and father were too different things but to Eun-ji, it was exactly the same. Her parents were so busy her grandma practically raised her. She taught her most of the skills outside of magic, made sure she was well taken care off and served as a glue for the whole family. It felt unfair that the Slytherin should get a pass for their rotten behaviour due to this. “Well…Newsflash, you are not the only one that lost someone.” Eun-ji hissed dangerously. She was no longer smirking but deadly serious. The witch wouldn’t use the painful event against Cassandra but she wouldn’t let them off the hook either.
Finally, after what seemed like eternity the battle came to an end. The Slytherin had enough and decided it was time to leave. The victory was bitter to say the least and Eun-ji was very sure her practice today would be very exhausting. She came here in a sour mood but now she was practically seething. “At last, something we can agree on.” She commented when Cassandra expressed their wish to never meet again. Eun-ji shared their sentiment but doubted they would be so lucky. After all, they were both third years so they would see each other in class at the very least. Well, at least we don’t have the same social circles so we don’t really have to interact. That would be a painful experience. The girl though as she watched them leave the room. The silence that settled in it afterwards was almost deafening but definitely welcome. “사이코/Saiko…,” (Psycho…) Eun-ji muttered under her breath before finally settling the bag down and getting ready for practice.
