They were well on their way now. It had been quite the trek in pursuit of the third team on their way to the Astronomy tower, but it had been worth it. That riddle had been one of Evelynn's more successful ones, in her opinion. The word play with 'haul' and 'hall'; the reference to lyrics in a song. Given just how easily the teams seemed to have tackled most of her clues, it seemed this was the sort that would serve as an example for any more she might make in future. Jangleton was quick to pick up on a few hints in the poem, however, and managed to weave them together to a coherent answer.
A smile from the shadows met their answer and Evelynn watched as they departed, making their way to the Small Hall. With the fourth clue solved, the one that met them at the bulletin board in the small hall would be their last. Almost done, almost there. Only one more riddle to solve and they would be able to make their way to the final destination where prizes awaited those who were swiftest in their arrival. The card within the envelope would read as follows:Team #3 — Clue #5Tell me the tale about Robin the Oathkeeper

We spent a lot of time to create individual paths for every team. The goal of every team is to reach the final location and the team that gets there first wins. But as simply looking who posts there first would hardly be fair, we have thought of another way to determine, which team was the quickest (I will come to that in a second). I will supply every team with one clue at a time. Once you solved it, I will give you the next. You might find that some are easier than others, but I have given some difficult clues to every team, I don't doubt that there will be struggles at a certain point. In that case, you may ask for hints. For the sake of fairness, the Slytherins will have to ask Evelynn, the Gryffindors have to ask Opeila.
We will post a new thread for every single clue. Once those threads are up, you will have to post 700 words- as a team, multiple people together or one single person, I don't care- that include the solution of the riddle. The solution of the riddle is not always a location. You'll need to tell us the solution to the riddle we gave you- just saying a location that could as well be a good guess is not enough.
How is the time calculated?
We only count the time that you guys needed to figure out the riddle. The time between you solving one clue and us giving you the next, as well as the time between you asking for a hint and us replying will be substracted. Differences in timezones or a busy afternoon of a mod are not supposed to be the reason for a team to lose. But to motivate you to try your best with the clue before you ask us for hints, there is a penalty. For every hint you ask for, there will be 12 hours added to your total time as well as another 200 words to write after we give you the hint.
Also please write into every post what team you are in and your wordcount. Otherwise the calculations may take longer than necessary.

If Elena had been keeping track correctly and she was pretty sure she was, they were most likely on their fifth puzzle by now and after a while, trying to make sense of words sewen together in a very mind-boggling fashion tended to take it's toll on you. She could only hope that this riddle wouldn't press their buttons too much but she had learned not to get her hopes too high. The last one had certainly given them a run-around at first as the group departed the Astronomy Tower keen to get away from any prying eyes that might question what on Merlin they were doing skulking about the tower without any useful purpose. Now, that carol was stuck in her head as they descended to the Small Hall, a place that was probably neglected too much by everyone here alike as compared to it's bigger counterpart, it was far less grandoise and elegant in nature.
Elene didn't know what to expect as they entered. Maybe some Christmas lights or something to indicate they were in the right place as she scanned her surroundings before landing on that familiar envelope fixed to the bulletin board instead of being pinned to the door of some adjacent classroom. "Well, if it's anything like the last one, Merlin help us." She commented, perhaps not the most encouraging remark in light of all they had been through but it had certainly been a test of their intellectual ability and Elena had a feeling this one would be exactly that. They weren't Ravenclaws who could decipher the etymology of a spell at the drop of a hat, they were Gryffindors, simple, straight to the point and she had a feeling that was working against them in this instance.
Stepping up to the board, she flipped open the enevelope sticking her hand inside to pull out the slip which contained their next test of the mind. She had barely gotten past the third line before she inhaled a deep sigh already knowing this was going to be one of those ones. "It's like they want us to give up." Elena added eyeing the slip with a baffled look having no idea on earth what this one was referring to. She had a series of problems that were presented with this one that were clear at first glance, most importantly being that who on Godric's good earth was Robin the Oathkeeper. She defintely hadn't stumbled upon him in History of Magic though the way it was going on about plaqued history and whatnot, the brunette reckoned that most certainly could have been a possibility.
"The way it's rattling on about history and stuff, you think it's the History of Magic classroom?" The answer itself didn't hold much merit in her heart but it was the best she had having next to no knowledge about this oathkeeper whatever that term might mean though she did notice that some of the words were capitalized. Words that typically would not be and violated the rules of the English language as her finger jabbed at each one. "Look, these ones are capitalized." There had to be a reason why and as she looked at each one, the Gryffindor slowly began to come to the realization that they had been wrong all wrong. In fact, the riddle was not referring to any sort of oathkeeper or had any sort of connection with the History of Magic Classroom at all. It was a riddle within a riddle as she smiled to herself slowly spelling out the letters in her head.
"Trophy room."
She announced to the group making sure she hadn't missed any letters. "If you put them together, that's what it spells. It's a hidden message." Smart, Elena supposed, as if solving one riddle wasn't confusing enough, they had decided to hide the actual answer within a riddle that bore no relevance to the actual answer but she took comfort in the fact that she wouldn't have to worry about who on earth Robin the oathkeeper was though she filed the name away for reference. He certainly had an interesting title, maybe she would come across him in the library or something. "Off we go then." The girl said pointing towards the way they had came.
