Appearance: Nikolai has a rather athletic build to a kid of his age, clearly showing that he works out consistently and keeps active. He has dark brown hair, hazel eyes, and a tan skin tone that sort of blend with his look as they all compliment one another. The Dragov boy appears to come off on the more serious side with an almost never-ending hardened expression on his face, making him out to look like a very serious person on the outside.

Personality: Nikolai is a rather reserved and serious person, or so he looks like it on the outside. He is still a person that is out there in showing his face to his fellow peers and socializes with others whether that be in or out of class. Although, he tries to act as if he doesn't care and use the simple of excuses of it being 'out of etiquette, mannerisms, and his duty as a fellow peer to help out', Nikolai actually does care deep down inside for others but suppresses those feelings from showing on the outside, choosing on hiding it inside to uphold his pride. Disciplined, determined, and hardworking are also another few traits of his. Although, he is especially ruthless during class in order to look good for his professors, not wanting to show any signs of weakness by holding back.

He enjoys every single moment he's with mother, constantly making sure to go home during their breaks to stay with her so that she may not be alone. Nikolai is a very determined and committed person that tries to live with a purpose and uphold his duties as a student, friend, son, etc. he always makes sure that do the best in whatever role of a relationship he may be to someone in general. He tends to be rather blunt and straightforward though, making it seems as if he's rude when he doesn't intentionally mean to be. Nikolai is also calculating and strategic, especially when it comes to picking his friends as well as his enemies.

Nik formed a liking for Combat Magic after his father and mother had talked about it once when reminiscing over Durmstrang and had explained it to him. He liked the idea of training his strength, agility, and endurance to use offensively and defensively with his magic. One day, he found himself suddenly having a peculiar interest in the muggle martial art known as Muay Thai after having found a book about it and began to use it to train himself. He has a knack for fighting and keeping his body conditioned to say the least.

History: Born on October 28th, 2007 to pure-bloods Krim Dragov and Anastasia Dragov née Kreinz, was Nikolai Dragov in wizarding world Moscow, Russia. Both of his parents met at Durmstrang Institute during their seventh year and continued to be a couple throughout their eighth year and even after graduation until finally getting married. His father had chose Combat Magic as his main class while his mother chose Dark Arts and became an Alchemist. He grew up with both of his parents for most of his childhood before attending Durmstrang Institute for Magical Learning. His father got the job of being a Hit Wizard in the Magical Law Enforcement Squad under the Department of Magical Law Enforcement for the British Ministry of Magic. They moved to London in England for a better opportunity at life because of this when Nikolai was only at the age of three.

Nikolai grew up in a big house with his parents and was homeschooled for most of his childhood before attending Durmstrang just like most of the other kids that lived in the wizarding world. They saw nothing wrong with sending him to a Muggle primary school but his mother just preferred homeschooling him herself. The family of three were fans of Quidditch with both of his parents having played it during their time at Durmstrang and being exceptionally good players at the sport. Alas, their interests lied elsewhere in which they had pursued different careers. His parents still taught him how to fly a broom and would go outside at times to fly around with each other for fun. They were both strict and toughened people but also had a soft side to them when they were all together and bonding. The ways of Durmstrang had been implemented into both of his parents and the traditions stayed with them, making Nikolai workout every morning before his homeschooling lessons began to prepare him for going to Durmstrang and the survival training for the initiation ceremony.

He one day met a girl by the name of Adelaide Valerius, a pure-blood around his age, down by the creek near his house when he was younger. She lived on one side of the creek while Nikolai lived on the other. Nik had ran off in exploration to do what most kids do and was using his imagination, making up whatever came to his mind at the time that had him go outside. When he arrived at the stream he noticed the strikingly beautiful girl on the other side of it with green eyes and a honey brown color to her hair. Her facial structure was defined by the bright smile that was ever present on her face, allowing for a soft and calming look to her overall. She had already been there bent over in her multiple attempts to try and catch a fish or anything else that was jumping out of the water. Soon enough he got shy upon his arrival at the stream and sat down while doing his own thing, keeping his eyes locked to the ground and away from making contact with hers. That was until he was interrupted by a splash of water that came from her, followed by a light-hearted giggle that left Nikolai confused at first. He then returned the splash of water and eventually she went over to him across the stream by hopping on the rocks that made a path to the other side. From there it was history with the bond of their friendship, constantly being with each other everyday and teaching one another different things in their respective interests and hobbies.

It wasn't until the age of ten when he had another friend over at the Dragov's house and they were simply messing around, which quickly led into a heated argument and a loud outcry came from Nik's mouth, sending his friend flying backwards with a sudden burst of energy that happened to be accidental wandless magic. The following year when he was eleven, his father had been on an assignment to arrest a group of high-profile Dark Wizards and Witches in which the entire squad failed to do, resulting in the death of his father and his comrades. He began to push himself away from others, not really bothering to keep in contact with the friends he had made throughout his child or hangout with them aside from one person, which was Adelaide. In fact, Nikolai even began to close out his mother despite everything she tried to do for him.

Suddenly, one day when Nikolai was seeking comfort through Adelaide, it began to rain very hard and quickly. They were both on his side of the stream and Adelaide needed to get across to her side to go back home. But the rain said otherwise as it made the current of the stream more vicious and faster. She began to hop from one rock to the next to get across until she ended up slipping and fell into the stream, the river swiftly caught her with it's rough grasp and began to pull her down underwater and further downstream. Nikolai feared for her life as an adrenaline rush suddenly hit him, forcing him to jump in after her by instincts. He utilized the constant conditioning of his body to fight against the current as hard as he could and get to Adelaide who was a yard or two away from him, crying out for help. When he had finally reached her and extended his hand out to grab a hold of hers, she was viciously swept down under and the back of her head was smashed into against a rock, resulting in her death on the spot. Fear filled Nikolai's eyes as he hastily looked around for any sign of her until her lifeless body suddenly floated back up to the surface a few feet ahead of him with blood trailing behind her. Nikolai made quick work of getting to her and dragged the two of them out of the stream, working against the stream with all his strength in order to. The boy held her lifeless body in his arms with the rain seeming to coincidentally come to a halt once he held his dear friend and bring out the sun. He rocked back and forth in his spot on the grass with a downpour of tears and the emotional pain that came from his cries as he mourned the loss of his friend.

Shortly thereafter, Nikolai's life spiraled as he went into a deep feeling of sadness and depression due to Adelaide's death alongside his mother over his father's death. His mother was able to push through it in order to provide for her son but Nikolai couldn't help but suddenly harden his personality and become reserved. He began to form a serious personality that wouldn't open up to others so easily. His commitment to preparing himself for Durmstrang only grew from there to hone his cleverness and strength so that his ambitions may carry him to the top of his class at Durmstrang.

Ever since he was capable of physically training and conditioning his body on his own with the guidance of his parents, the first thing they Nikolai was to be quick and nimble on his feet but explosive with that. His parents both attended Durmstrang Institute when they were younger as it was also where they met, knowing full well the ways of Durmstrang and how it is at school. Their teachings from the school carried on with them into their adult life and even their jobs as they forever stuck to the ways of Durmstrang and what they were taught, leading them to both be an exceptionally good wizard and witch in terms of magical combat prowess. Through this they shared their teachings and experience from Durmstrang with their son, Nikolai Dragov, making sure that he full well understood what Durmstrang would be all about the second he arrived there.

They put him through workouts and conditioning sessions every day, more so specifically making him do a workout in the morning every time before his home-schooling began. Most of these workouts consisted of him using mainly his feet for it and being quick on them along with using his instincts. His father would cast Bluebell Flames aimed at him, which obviously does no harm aside from setting clothes on fire. So, it was coming out of his fathers pocket to pay for the clothes that managed to get singed. With this though, Nikolai quickly learned to dodge things coming towards him and be able to successfully evade it. With this though, he was a master at playing games with other kids his age and being able to juke them out or avoid them.

His training with his father proved useful once he came across Muay Thai in a muggle book on martial arts that they had found. Nikolai quickly grew to find a liking for this form of martial arts known as Muay Thai and learned it alongside his father with the both of them consistently practicing on each other whenever they had the free time to. They would continue such practice up until the day his father had died on the job for the ministry. Nikolai felt a sort of disconnection to the martial art and stopped training in Muay Thai once his father passed for a good while.

Upon arriving to Durmstrang though and finding himself a distraction, Nikolai got back to it during his free time throughout his first year. His fathers training with him when he was younger proved useful whenever he sparred with others and was able to evade attacks, stepping to the side, weaving under them, etc. He was also quick in running and getting around to classes if he was ever cutting it close for whatever odd reason.
