The hunt had begun and Opeila found herself having to make a choice who she would follow first. All five Slytherin teams had been on one spot and the riddles had different levels in terms of difficulty. Some left their common room earlier, some later. It didn't matter so much, Opeila would always know where they would go next- as long as they stuck to what the clue told them.
Eventually, Opeila arrived at the location before the Dysfunctional Snakes did and decided to wait in a safe distance. She could see the little note with the second clue, untouched and unharmed where she had put it. Stuck to the door of the Small Hall. Some students walked past and gave the note a strange look but no one touched it, thank goodness. That had been a concern of Opeila, so she went the safe way and used the gluing spell to keep the note where she put it.

Once she saw the first familiar faces enter, Opeila left to look for the next team.

Initially, Hanako already had a tactic in mind when he signed up for this House Battle. And that was ‘Operation: Play Dumb Until It’s Over’. It’s instructions are self-explanatory. To put it simply, whoever was going to be a part of his team better have more than enough wit to compensate for Hana's lack of them. It’s riddles after all! In exchange for this, Hana will gladly contribute with his adorable face and energetic vibe to cheer them on when times get tough. At least, with any extra remaining energy he had. Which wasn’t a lot, to begin with, but his teammates didn’t need to know that.
With that, he met his randomly chosen teammates. A big question weighed on him. ‘Out of all the people he could’ve been paired up with, why did it have to be these bozos?!’. What was this? Another fun day in the Severus Snape Dorm? And it’s not even with the Severus Snape boys that he actually liked! Where were Percival and Miller at? Also knows as the only dormmates he could get along with? Oh, yeah! In the other freaggin team! Here we have Goody Flashy Pants Flash, Knight in Furry Armor, and Jack. Hanako didn’t have much beef with Jack so his name will be spared. But it wasn’t enough to lighten Hana’s mood. Mostly because the bar was raised higher with the stupid cat joining the party. With the furry devil in his presence, Hanako already had a napkin stuck close to his nose- knowing full well he was unable to escape his dreaded fate.
At first, he still wanted to continue Operation: Play Dumb Until It’s Over. But his continuous sneezes weren’t making it easy. Even worse? These bozos took forever to interpret the riddle’s answer! Thinking he had better chances at breathing normally if they moved to another location, Hanako shared his quick opinion on the riddle’s answer. Didn’t matter if they were wrong, he just had to get out of here. Fortunately, it was the right answer and the new area helped his sneezing tremendously. Once they had found the 2nd riddle, he gave out a sigh of relief. His relief quickly turned to disgust the second he realized he had been walking next to Flash. Being too busy controlling his sneezing failed to make him realize he was walking next to the worst person here. And his face visibly showed it. #1 Bozo or not- Flash was the only one he could be near without sneezing. But when there’s a chance to get away from both the cursed cat and Flash, Hanako would be crazy not to take it.
“ Well, folks!” he beamed. Although it was hoarse and his nose was clearly blocked, he tried his best to stay enthusiastic. “ Detective Hannah Tone has completed his part of the mission. I’ll leave the rest of you to….” he eyed all his teammates with an attempted glare that was too lifeless to be considered intimidating. “ figure it out. While I try to stop-” he paused followed by a quick sneeze, “... yea, that.”. He would use his last remaining energy on glaring at the one who deserved it the most.
He glared at the cat.
And with that, he took a few strides away from the group. Near enough for him to hear a call for his name clearly.

Going to the Courtyard...
Henry decided to walk next to Jack, since the red head was one of the only dorm mates who the young teen liked.
Since first arriving in the snape dormitory, Henry tried to keep to himself and avoid the others. Choosing to hang out with friends from other houses such as gryffindor or hufflepuff instead but there was always something about Jack Burnett that he couldn't help but admire. Jack seemed like a extrovert and always seemed so calm or cool.
Henry thought that Jack was one of the nicest and sanest people he ever met in slytherin and for a while wanted to hang around more to become friends with him.
Well for a while. Henry still admired Jack but not enough to purposely hang out in the slytherin common room surrounded by some who he didn't technically like or really tolerant.
Still the teen walked besides Jack, partly because his feline was resting on the fellow Slytherin's shoulder but also because he was one of the only dorm mates there who he tolerated or rather liked.
"I'm sorry that Loki jumped on you quite unusually, if you want I can move him," Henry asked Jack in a low voice when they reach the next area. The young teen would read the riddle with the others and instantly his mind started to unravel the words and figure out the answer.
Henry was distracted from his thoughts by Hanko Tone's voice and looked up before he was taken back by his sneeze. The young teen would watch him over away from his orange feline and couldn't hold back his question as he asked" your allergic to cats, Tone?" How did Henry not know before, after all he shared a dormitory with the boy and three cats for around a year, " reckon that's difficult with three cats close by your room," Henery was referring to Alala, Kioshi, and his own feline; Loki who was oddly staring at Hanko almost like he didn't trust the boy from the top of Jack's shoulder.
Henry read over the riddle again and the words sounded familiar to him but where he know that place from. He heard the other two have a discussion on the riddle or was trying it figure out the meaning when Henry bit his bottom lip gently mauling the words over in his head when the answer popped into his head.
" it's the courtyard," Henry spoke and looked up at the three Snape boy's only to find out he have said it milliseconds after Jack did. Henry nodded toward the red head for a moment before he would wait and watch as the group came back together and Loki perched his ears up almost like he was listening for something but remained on Jack's shoulder for the time being.
Henry would stay near the back of the group when they left the small hall but would find his way next to Jack almost to keep his eyes on Loki which is when he remembered that gryffindor was also doing the dorm battles and his mind wondered off to how his friends were doing.
Henry question himself if Rose and Scarlett were on the same team, he thought that two were probably doing brilliantly and perhaps far ahead of his team by now. He was sure of it well to a extent that was, which struck Henry for a minute. That was what Loki was listening for. The sounds of his two friends; Rose Moon and Scarlett Aden since his purple hair friend; Cash didn't seen like a fan of cats.
Either for his friends or the cat was listening for their felines; Chaska and Sparta since his own was probably getting board sitting on Jack's shoulder and glaring at Hanako.
Henry wondered where his two red haired friends were also and wondered if he would see them along his groups path, Henry smiled a little as he thought of the two girls before his mind slipped to Katrina Walker and he wondered if she was on their team as well. He felt odd or perhaps a bit weird thinking about the girl before clearing his head and silently hoping Rose and Scarlett were doing brilliant at their path at he followed his dorm mates out to the courtyard.
