Personality

Hyper competitive. Eager to be the best at everything. While not competing he is very laid back and friendly, loves to just enjoy the moment and try to make the most of everything and see the good in any situation. While he hates to lose, he sees it as a chance to better himself and will work very hard to make sure he doesn't lose the next time

Arden's dad, Seamus, was a pro quidditch player. One day he met the woman who would later on become his wife Ciara Byrne, a muggle. Seamus retired and left the magical community to live with his now wife in the muggle world and left magic behind. For years they were happy and eventually had Arden. Arden's mom would soon become sick around his fifth birthday, and her health deteriorated more and more but she was adamant she didn't want a magical solution, and Seamus reluctantly respected her wishes. unfortunately traditionally medicine didn't work, and Ciara passed leaving Arden and Seamus with only each other when the boy was only 8 years old. As the years passed they continued to live as muggles, in their family home until the day came were Arden showed his first instance of magic. When Arden was 10 he was practicing Rubgy with his dad, just exercising and going over the fundamentals. The longer they were playing Arden was getting more and more competitive and going at it harder and harder trying to show up his dad. To finish up the day Seamus told Arden to tackle him to the ground. After about 8 tries he was getting more and more frustrated. After his final failed attempt Seamus couldn't help but laugh and the frustrated and angry Arden. Upset at his failure, and his weakness, Arden let out a frustrated yell and he managed to throw his dad backwards to land on his butt. Arden freaked out and apologized, running over to his dad who looked confused at first but as realization dawned on his face his expression turned to pride as he gave his son a hug. It was time to tell him the truth....he was magical. They both were, and Seamus knew it was time to return to the magical community and he began to slowly teach his son the truth about who he was and what they were both capable of.

After learning about being a wizard he started trying to learn everything he could, learn magic. how to cast, what things were, the sports, the hobbies. He soaked it all up eagerly and he couldn't wait to learn more, to learn everything. The more he knew, the more he could do and the sooner he could start making his dad proud. Proving his place, how good he was, and making sure both his dad and everyone else knew what he had. what he could do.

The hardest part of knowing he was a wizard, as was his dad was keeping it a secret. His friends from school, his coaches on his junior rugby team, his uncles and aunts on his mothers side. His dad told them he won a scholarship to an exclusive and very nice boarding school in Scotland and Arden would start attending there immediately.

While he was a little upset he would be dropping Rugby, and leaving school with his friends he was excited to go to a new school and make new friends. and who knows, they might have their own rugby teams. or some other magical sport. Whatever happened, it was going to be a blast.

Arden tried to reach out and make wizard and witch friends, but his terrible marks and complete confusion at everything in the wizard world led him to need to hunker down and focus entirely on his studies and fade into the background of the school.

With his habits and routine established the previous year Arden devoted all of his time and energy into his classes, studying, and catching up on a lifetime of missed knowledge about the wizarding world spending almost all of his time in the library or study halls, neglecting socialzing.

With a solid grasp on the wizarding world and his studies Arden devoted everything to prepping himself for his passion. Sports. He quietly observed as many quidditch practices as he could, and went to every game regardless of house taking detailed notes to study. He also researched much about Quidditch and practiced on his own often again keeping him preoccupied and unable to properly socialize.

Family

Ciara Byrne Mother Muggle Ciara was born to a normal family in southern Ireland. The was an artist who drew painted landscapes, played piano, and tended to her garden. it was during a nature walk when she stumbled across Seamus practicing on his broom, and helped him up when he crashed. The two quickly fell in love, and together raised Arden in the muggle world. Sadly, she became sick and insisted on not using magic. Eventually she passed, but she will never be forgotten

Seamus Doherty Hufflepuff Alumni Father Seamus was a pureblood wizard born to a family always pushing him harder and farther. While in hogwarts he was sorted into hufflepuff and was a friendly kid, always trying to have the best time he could. He played for the quidditch team, and after graduation went pro. Once he met Ciara he retired, and left behind the magical community. He helped raise Arden, always encouraging him to do his best while never giving him the same pressure his parents gave him. Since Ciara passed, the two of them have become closer than ever.
