A long ride ahead
Having come to the train station a bit early, there were still a lot of empty compartments. The three siblings quickly went into one before someone else did.
Looking out of the window, Manuela could see her mothers still standing on the platform.
She opened the window and waved her parents goodbye, her brothers did the same.
"Will any of your friends come to visit you?", she asked her brothers, who both shrugged their shoulders.
"I told them that I'm with you, so they might search for us just to meet you.", her younger brother, Noel, said. Lucas nodded his head, it's the same for him.
Hesitating a bit, Manuela asked: "Have you told your friends a lot about me?"
At least her brothers looked sheepish while nodding. Manuela could only sigh and shake her head with a smile. She thinks her brothers will never change.
While her brothers talked about their classes, Manuela opened her book and began to read. She packed two books, hoping that that would be enough for the ride. She is already half way done with the one she is currently reading, after all.
The train started moving and it didn't take long for the compartment door to open.
"Lucas!", a boy, probably around Lucas age, stepped into the compartment.
"Markus! I didn't think I would see you so soon.", Lucas made room for his friend to sit.
He nodded, said hello to Noel and then turned to me: "This is your sister you talked so much about?"
"Yes! This is Manuela.", Lucas said with a smile.
"Hello, it's a pleasure.", we shook hands and I went back to my book.
Markus just laughed: "Just like you told me, a total bookworm.", there was no ill intent in his voice, so Manuela didn't take what he said in a bad way.
While her brother and Markus chatted, Noel decided to take a nap on her shouder but that didn't disturb her in the slightest. Manuela just continued to read her book in silence.

A long ride ahead
Kendra was running late for the Hogwarts Express. Having no experience prior, she and her parents have had trouble navigating the location of platform 9 and 3/4. With help from an older student travelling alone, they finally managed to get to the platform.
Her mother checked her belongings for the fifth time within 30 minutes before Kendra finally shrieked, "Mum! I'm going to be left here if you keep on checking my stuff." She held up a checklist with about three ticks for each box due to the constant checking and re-checking. "I'll be fine. I've got to go."
The train gave its final hoot signaling its near departure. Her parents hurriedly peppered her with kisses and hugs before helping her up into the train. She waved goodbye before climbing up into the compartments.
Kendra wasn't aware that there THIS many students on a journey to Hogwarts. Quite frankly, she has never been aware of anything from the Wizarding World until that day a professor showed up on their doorstep.
She wiggled and squeezed her way into the small walkway by the compartments, chancing to spot a less full one to stay in. Most of the compartments have already been occupied and almost everyone have already formed a clique. She did not care much for belonging in a clique. She was more interested in finding a place to read her book in a quiet environment.
Kendra was losing hope when she finally stumbled upon a compartment with less than 6 people in it. She took a deep breath before pulling the door open. She was never a smooth talker so upon opening the door without a rehearsed introduction, she bit the insides of her cheeks.
"Hello, there doesn't seem to be any available compartments. May I stay here? I promise I'll be silent." She said with a small awkward smile.
