Full Name: Ethan Thomas Moore; Ethan was named after his grandfather, Thomas. He holds great pride in his name since he lost his grandfather at a young age and is determined to live up to his grandfather's name. His nickname when he was younger was Tommy and his grandmother still calls him this at times. However, Ethan only trusts his grandmother with this nickname and will quickly snap at anyone who attempts to call him as such.

House: Ravenclaw; Ethan's family covers all houses in Hogwarts. His mother and father were both Hufflepuffs, his older brother was in Slytherin, and his grandfather was in Griffindor. Ethan and his grandmother are the two Ravenclaws in the family and although Ethan was hoping to be sorted into Slytherin like his brother, he is more than happy to share a house with his best friend- his grandmother.

Age: Twelve; Ethan was born during a blizzard in February and ever since, he has always been adverse to the cold. He loves being out in the snow and when the ground is covered in soft snow, Ethan can usually be found outside in shorts and a t-shirt, simply enjoying the weather. He usually keeps his bedroom at home quite cold for this reason and if the temperature is a single degree above room temperature, he usually complains about it being too hot.

Wand: 29,9cm Cherry Wood and Unicorn Hair; Ever since Ethan first took his trip to Ollivander's, his wand has been one of his most prized possession. He was lucky to receive a cherry wood wand, one that is incredibly sought after. He often talks about how beautiful his wand is and while some people see it as self-centered, Ethan is just very fond and proud of the wand he carries.

School Year: First Year; The thing Ethan is most excited about when it comes to his first year at Hogwarts is the possibility of making new friends. He did not have a great experience with friends before he came to Hogwarts and he feels like the school will be a new start and a chance to make new people to rely on. Although Ethan is excited for new friends, he still often struggles with trusting others so in order for Ethan to consider someone a friend, he has to trust them immensely.

Patronus: N/A; Ethan is more than ecstatic to receive his Patronus in his sixth year, but knows that he must be patient- and his Patronus will pick him when the time is ready.

Species: Human; Ethan is a wizard-born human, but he is incredibly excited to meet those who are not. The thought of interacting with others who are not even human is something that intrigues Ethan to no end and he cannot wait to see the people that Hogwarts has in store for him.

History/Background Story: Born and raised in Cork, Ireland, Ethan has had his fair share of struggles in life. His brother passed away in a mysterious accident when he was only seven and after his parents struggled to recover from the loss of their first born, Ethan was sent to live with his grandmother. He has struggled with school bullies his whole schooling career and this past has made Ethan incredibly hostile towards people that rub him the wrong way after first impressions. He has a hard time trusting new people and tends to fear that they will leave him like his parents did when he was young.
Ethan grew up with magic around him his whole life, but always felt like he would not ever find the magical powers within him. It was not until a close encounter with a car accident that Ethan realized he was powerful- since a speeding car seemed to pass right through him instead of crashing into him. He ran home immediately to inform his grandmother about the incident and the next thing he knew, Ethan had mail from Hogwarts that he had been recognized as a magical individual. He is now working to prove that he is just as powerful as his family and hopes that his parents will finally recognize his abilities during his time at Hogwarts.
