It was the end of spring break and the next day the tall blonde haired boy would be returning to Durmstrang. That spring holiday wasn't the worst that Charles had, actually he much enjoy it probably because he got to spend it in America with his friend; Drew where the blonde truly had a blast.

However the day before the blonde had to depart from America so he could return to Durmstrang possibly his least favorite place.

That day however was turning out to be awful, Charles was dragged to diagon alley with his parents and elder brother to collect a few materials necessary for school. Charles wasn't looking forward to it and for the most time stayed behind his family remembering earlier in the holiday when he was staying with Drew and his family, having fun and just being a regular kid.

However the blonde would become distracted when his family made a turn and entered Quality Quidditch Supplies which was one of Charles's favorite stores and wondered if his parents would finally buy him another broom now that he made the quidditch team. But doubted it, still it could be worth a chance to ask.

"I made the Durmstrang quidditch team recently? I was wondering if I could buy a broom?" Charles asked in english, while he did attend Durmstrang the boy mainly spoke English at home with his family but still stayed behind his family when his brother would fall into step beside him and speak"As a third string player or second so a broom would be useless for him," Charles looked at his brother who stared back at him for a few moments until their parents broke them up.

Enough of these childish games, were not here for brooms for anyone," their father spoke before looking around for a moment and continuing" were looking for a small gift for your younger cousin; Leo's birthday then were leaving." Their parents would take a few steps from two before his father would say" behave yourselves both of you."

Also their parents were on the other side of the shop, Charles would feel his shoulder be knocked to the side and he would nearly fall down when he heard his brother speak" maybe I'll get father to buy me a broom and perhaps I'll it around Durmstrang," Charles watched Andrew walk away and clench his fists a bit since he knew that his brother hated brooms and flying and only say that to get under Charles's skin.

The blonde took a breath and try to ignore his brother as he walked toward the brooms figuring he could look around a bit, accidentally bumping into a girl. Charles would open his mouth to apology before recognizing her as a second year pureblood Durmstrang who also was on the quidditch team, the blonde decided to ignore her and move over to the brooms eyeing them a bit.

At Durmstrang Charles has built himself up a reputation, well with the help of his brother of course. Andrew would always find a way to either humiliate or punch his younger brother around the school so the blonde was known for that. Then he was also known for his actions or reputation, Charles tended to get into fights with nearly everyone at Durmstrang and when he wasn't then he would he out flying on a broom.

Charles typically only hung out with Werner, one of his only friends at Durmstrang or he was practicing quidditch alone. So it was no wonder that Charles didn't know who the girl he just accidentally bumped was and nor did he care, the blonde preferred friends in other schools than his. Plus there were already a lot that didn't like the boy at his own school so what's one more...

Charles heard the girl talking behind him as he examined the brooms in front of him and would calmly respond" are you finished with your rambling," giving a light smile before eyeing the girl over once and saying" Durmstrang second year quidditch player who is a pureblood princess," the blonde would brush by her again before turning on his heel and calmly speaking" don't stress yourself princess, not everyone obeys you."

The blonde would turn to find himself face to face with his brother who was giving a smile before hearing his voice, " hello brother and Nikita right? It's a pleasure to see you again," Charles hally expected his brother to know the Durmstrang girl and moved around him but was stop by his brother and his voice, " congratulations with making the team Nikita, we must catch up at school."

Charles would eye his brother for a moment and try to push past him only to feel Andrew to push again him and his voice again this time in a rather more polite tone, " I didn't know you and Charles were friends? I'm sure mother and father would like to see this," with that comment Charles would eye his brother and say" don't you dare get mother and father."

However that wasn't necessarily for their parents approached them at the moment, their father would glance over to the Durmstrang girl before his sons before speaking" Andrew, Charles what are you two doing? I thought I told you two to behave." The two boys nodded and Charles would open his mouth before being cut off by Andrew who would be cut off by their father" and you girl. Who are you? Someone whose responsible in my son's not behaving, would your parents like to hear about this? Or are you friend of them, you seem to be in Charles's year."

Charles would stand besides his brother using past lessons with his current situation while their parents stood besides his brother, talking with the Durmstrang girl.

Charles wasn't about to not make a case for himself so after the girl spoke he put on a neutral but polite face wine spoke calmly, " I was examining the brooms fathers when I lightly brushed past her, I must have missed her on account of her being so short," the blonde would have gave a smile but didn't instead keeping a polite face, "I was behaving myself when she threatened to punch me and acted like a mindless child."

The blonde knew it wouldn't matter what he would say but it was worth a try when he feel silent at the sight of his father's raised hand before hearing his deep and rather calm voice, "Enough. I remember tell you both to behave yourselves today and so there will be consequences at home," before the man would give Andrew a small nod who wild speak" but father I did behave myself and was only saying hello to a friend from school. Nikita mentioned that I came to assist-" but would also fall silent at the sight of their father's hand something that Charles found amusing and eager to see his older brother be punished but didn't show it.

"Enough Andrew. We will discuss it in depth at home," their father spoke before turning to Nikita while Charles hoped something good would happen or her parents would be called over and punish her.

"Where are your parents? I'm sure they'll be interested with the situation," their father spoke and Charles hoped that they would punish her but remained still only to turn his head to look at his mother when he heard her voice,
"so your both on the quidditch team? How is the team going? Do you guys talk after practice or during classes? Are you two friends?"

Charles hated the thought of having the girl or any Durmstrang as his friend besides from Werner as he spoke" were not friends mother and we don't talk to each other at all at school," the blonde then eye the girl before adding, " I recently made the Durmstrang team but the team looks to be strong if you don't count the younger stubborn students."

The blonde would then fall silent as they waited there, Charles assumed for the girl's parents.

Charles caught the girl's eye when he called her short, technically speaking she was rather tall for her age but after a year the blonde grew a few inches himself and currently stood at five feet and ten inches which was around 2 or so inches taller than the second year.

Charles knew the girl was lying but the blonde was going to use it to his advantage as he spoke" my vision just perfectly fine, it's just my broom. Schools brooms are much harder to control, perhaps if I had my own broom than my quidditch skills could be improved," the blonde wanted his own broom more than anything as he looked over at his parents and thoughts that maybe that was the day he would get his own brook unfortunately he heard his father's words, " were not buying you a broom Charles for a sport that has no effect on your future with the ministry."

Charles figured he would say that but kept silent as his father looked over the girl before he would address the group as a whole, " since nothing occurred here, we should be off," Charles knew his brother would want to defend himself but he wouldn't need to since Nikita did it for him. A second year defending a sixth year, Charles couldn't believe his sixteen year old brother was friends with a second year but apparently he was.

The blond stayed silent as he wanted to see both his brother and the girl get in trouble when he heard Andrew speak" Thank Nikita, perhaps I could help you train for the team back at school," Charles was a bit jealous that his brother was offering to help her with quidditch and not him but also didn't really care as he stayed silent, " I wasn't trying to disobey you father, I only wanted to properly represent our family."

Charles saw his family shining smile that usually won everyone over and made Charles looked like the bad guy as he finally decided to stay silent when he heard his father's voice, " I appreciate you defending my son, miss but I'm afraid this is a family matter one that will be discussed at home." Charles was satisfied with his father's answer but also knew that once they would arrive at their house then Andrew would torment him as usual.

Charles heard her mention her parents and thought of all the lies he would like to them but probably not get the chance when his father spoke" well then perhaps you should find them since we will be leaving now, boys come on," unfortunately they would say when their mother asked about the Durmstrang team. She always was more curious about her son's school life than her husband.

Charles would give Nikita a small smile when he heard his mother speak" your just joking right? Some quidditch rivalry between the players, because I'm sure each person the team is valuable Charles," Charles would only nod to her mother when he turned back to Nikita and for a moment thought he got to her when her parents arrived.

Their father would speak first, "I believe it was a minor confrontation between your daughter and me youngest son but now I think it's a social interaction for them," their father would hold out his hand to both parents before introducing himself and his family, I'm Adam Alluring and this is my wife Addsion. And our boy's; Andrew and Charles."

When Charles heard his name he would offer his hand as well, being as polite as he could be as he spoke" it's a pleasure to meet you Sir Lebedev and Mrs Lebedev," giving them both a charming smile before continuing, " I'm on the Durmstrang quidditch team with your daughter and may I say how extraordinary she is on a broom. I admire her greatly," the blonde would then eye the girl for a moment before turning back to the parents as he spoke" especially how she questions and banters with our captain and professors. She is such a role model to me."

Granted Charles was lying but she started the lying so it was time for him to have some fun as he fell silent at the sight of his father.

Charles was taught since birth how to act and when to have manners so his conversation with the fellow Durmstrang parents felt rather familiar to the blonde, having done it at pureblood galas in the past.

Charles was even bothered when Andrew gave Nikita a small nod and smile speaking softly to her, " thank you for your attempt Nikita. And at Durmstrang remember your always welcomed with my friends and me, I do consider you a friend," Charles only eyed his brother a little and would wonder how a 6th year was even friends with a second.

His brother however went back to ignoring his younger brother, remaining silent as the scene unfolded that Charles started.

Charles would watched the scene with satisfaction but not sure it as the tables were now turned. His father would grab onto their mothers hand as he spoke" well it's always a pleasure to meet Andrew's and Charles's schoolmates but we must be going," Charles watched his father make a motion with his head to leave but the blonde felt like saying something else knowing well that he would have consequences for disobeying his father later.

"Miss Lebedev, could I say that your hair is rather ravishing and lovely," Charles started standing straight up with a polite attitude and appearance and small smile as he spoke" Nikita can be rather modest at times, she never recognizes her astounding talents or actions," the blonde would gaze over her girl and give her a small smirk before back at her parents with a small smile as he spoke" Nikita is one of the most dedicated members on the team and truly a amazing person."

The blonde would take a moment to pause before he would speak again, " I'm honored to call her my friend, I especially admire how she snaps out the professors and isn't afraid to jinx anyone even authority. She is truly brave."
