I simply wish to remind you that you are consequential.
In the very nature of your being alive and sentient you have the capacity to create change. You are potential energy. Put simply, you matter. This may seem an odd thing to be saying, but we all need a reminder sometimes.
It is so easy to become caught up in a web of hopelessness, and the belief that your life is not of consequence, whatever you do, but it is not true. You have agency, so use it. Think of a way to make someone smile, right now. Not later, or tomorrow, next week, or next month, right now. Create something beautiful. Write a poem, or a letter; draw a picture, paint something, do something. It doesn't have to be good, it just has to exist. To come from your own hand. To prove to yourself that you can. You are a rubber band held taut. You are a bowstring drawn back. A match resting on sandpaper, just about to spark. So spark. Make your fireworks. Even if it's just a shout in the void, dare to disturb the universe.
You are consequential.
