Physical Description and Wardrobe: Marcel is a slightly short, scrawny boy, standing just around 4'11, or 149.86 centimeters. Dark brown eyes stare with wonder at the magic in the world behind his large, round glasses. His black hair is neatly swept to his left, making his already pale complexion seem paler.
When he's not wearing his Hogwarts robes, Marcel usually likes to wear two categories of clothing: completely casual, reserved mostly for family (this consists of graphic t-shirts and sweatpants.); and formal casual, for when he's with friends, or out publicly. This would be a collared shirt, dress pants, and a pink bowtie.
Mental Description (Personality): Marcel is rather anxious and doesn't like to come out of his shell, much preferring to read his books and sit with his cat. When he does interact with others, he is mostly polite, especially around teachers and staff. Towards other students, however, it depends. If you're nice to him, he will be nice back. If you are rude, however, Marcel's snarkiness knows no bounds. He's quick-witted when it comes to comebacks, and his eagerness to learn fuels him through his first year of Hogwarts. However, he gets overstimulated very easily, and his failure to understand social cues makes him even less motivated to make friends, though he's very lonely.
History/Background Story: Marcel was born to Andrew and Susan Wheatley on August fifth of 2009. He was a very quiet child, unlike his brother, Michael, who tended to bounce off the walls. Michael was seven when Marcel was born, and though the age gap was large, Marcel clung to Michael tighter than anything. Since he was small, scrawny, and tended to get overwhelmed very, very easily, Marcel didn't have a lot of friends. Michael stuck by his side until Michael got his letter to go to Hogwarts, when Marcel was 4, just about to transfer into primary schooling. Seeing how distraught Marcel was of doing anything new without his brother, Susan homeschooled him instead. Being a very bright child, he excelled in arithmetic and history, becoming partial with the latter. As he grew, Marcel immersed himself in the fantasy worlds of his books. Why at age seven he was starting to read very long chapter books! These stories of things that have passed, or could have been, fueled his imagination and kept him from being too lonely. And then, the day of all days came, and that slightly heavy letter got personally delivered to him by the Wheatley's old Barn Owl, Stripes. He read the words over and over again, out loud, to Michael (who had already graduated that past year). Michael was eager to help Marcel pack for the long journey ahead of him, and told him many stories about his time at Hogwarts (ones which Marcel had heard many, many times), and made sure to calm his little brother's nerves just as Marcel was getting on the train. Marcel has a journey ahead of him, one that he can't wait to witness.
