Pet Solo A Cat-Tastic Encounter

Nell was quite literally ecstatic to get her very own pet. In Nell's childhood and early family time, she vividly remembered the eagerness to grow up, to have a pet of her very own. However, now that the very moment had at last come upon her, she was fit for the role as a pet owner. Or was she really ready?

She stepped inside into the quiet, quaint little pet shop. The feeling she felt the second she walked inside was euphoric. The whole shop, though she had never once set foot in there, brought back evocative memories from the days at home. As soon as the feeling passed over her, she made her way to the various pets around the room. Almost immediately, she felt a warm hand on her shoulder. "Is there anything I can help you with, dear?" Nell turned around to face a short woman with curled, white hair. She looked so very kind and benign, so Nell sent her a small smile.

"I'm alright for now, thank you though," Nell said softly. The old woman sent her a smile back, "I hope you find the perfect pet, may I ask your name?" she asked Nell. "Oh I'm Nell, and you are?" she asked, hoping not the be too intrusive into the kind lady's life. "I would be Anita, it's very nice to meet you Nell. Whenever you find the perfect pet, come right up to me at the front of the shop," she told her. Anita smiled again, crinkles forming at the sides of her eyes. She then walked off, her floral dress blowing slightly.

The first year walked around the quaint little store, looking at pets here and there. None of them quite sparked something in her like she hoped. But Nell would not be defeated, so she kept searching. Nell was quite positive she wanted a cat, for she had a strong adoration for felines.

As she was walking around, a special cat caught her eye. She walked toward it and grinned widely. The cat was a beautiful Silver Siberian, and Nell realized then and there that the cat right in front of her was exactly what she wanted. Filled with a new sense of joy, Nell took the crate holding the cat and took it to the counter where Anita had said to.

She smiled at the elderly lady and placed the cat on the table. "What a beautiful cat, Nell. She's perfect for you. Would you like a sugar cookie before you leave?" Anita had said to her. "She is beautiful, and I would like one, thank you," Nell said in reply. Nell handed Anita the necessary amount of galleons, and looked at her new cat in awe. "I think I'll name you Nadia," Nell whispered to her new cat as she walked out of the shop, sugar cookie in hand, grin on her face.
