The new girl

I got on the train and was so excited I was finally going to Hogwarts I have been waiting for this day to come since I could remember my parents telling me about Hogwarts. As I walked through the train I couldn't find any empty compartments but I decided to keep looking as I thought to myself there had to be one that was empty. I kept on looking throughout the train but I guess I had thought wrong, I finally found one that had one girl sitting in there and decided to ask her "Hello, my name is Sky, Sky Rio's I have been looking for an empty compartment but I can't seem to find one do you mind if I sit with you?" I asked her very excitedly hoping she would say yes as I couldn't wait to finally start making some new friends! I kept looking up at her waiting for her to respond but she kept kind of quiet for a minute and then decided to speak up again "it's okay if you say no, I can find somewhere else to sit if you'd like" I was still very excited to finally be going to this school.

As I sat in the compartment that I was sitting in all by myself I just sat there and thought to myself about how great it was finally to be going to Hogwarts as the train was just about to take off I couldn't wait to arrive at my new school my parents were always talking about me going there they had also considered other magical school's but I always knew I would end up going to Hogwarts as for that's always where I've always wanted to go and I knew my heart was set on it, but I just continued to stare out the window thinking. As I just sat there I heard the door to the compartment slide open and in a girl came she started talking but I was just in my own world staring out the window as the trained roared and started going. After I heard the train I snapped back into reality and realized that the girl was trying to talk to me I looked at her and she told me her name was Sky, Sky Rios as she sounded very happy. She then asked me if she could sit with me, "Um sure I don't mind" I said back to her in a very happy voice. I thought to myself maybe I could make friends here, sometimes it was hard for me to make friends since I don't talk that much but I knew that at Hogwarts I was going to make friends and have a good time, I heard the door slide shut as she closed it and sat down across from me " So is this your first year here at Hogwarts?'' I asked her as we both looked the same age!

As she looked back at me she said yes, I was excited when she said yes because maybe that meant that I was finally making friends! After she said yes I walked into the compartment and slid the compartment door shut and sat down as I heard the engine roar that finally meant I was on the way to Hogwarts I thought to myself she then asked if this was m first year here at Hogwarts "yeah I'm kind of nervous about making friends and everything but I hope that this year goes well and that I will make some new friends are you in your first year?" I said back excitedly! as I looked out the window as we took off from the station all I could think about was how great this year was going to be! " So are you excited to go to Hogwarts?" I asked her as I continued to look out the window and then back at her to she if she was going to answer!

After she sat down she started talking again, I was excited because this meant I could be making friends! " Oh well you shouldn't be nervous, this is going to be a great year but yes this is also my first year at Hogwarts" I said as we were both looking out the window now. She then asked me if I was excited I waited for a moment to think of what I was going to say back to sky " Yess I am very excited, are you?" I said as I saw her looking at me. As we sat there I heard the compartment door slide open again and I looked over to see who it was and it was a lady with a trolley full of sweets, "would you like anything from the trolley?" the lady asked us "Um I'll have a chocolate frog please" i asked the lady and then looked at sky to see if she was going to get anything! As the lady handed me the chocolate frog I opened it and I had gotten Albus Dumbledore "Yes I got Dumbledore" I said a bit to loud and then the lady looked at me and she kind of looked annoyed as for sky she started laughing and then started laughing with her.
