"I will miss you dad! Kiss mum when you get home. Promise that!" Shouted Florence from the train door. The train was aboout to leave just any second now. And dad was the only one that was able to come with her this time. Mum had driven grandmother, grandfather and her aunt to the airport last night. And did came home very early this morning. So she needed to sleep. And that is why her dad followed her instead.

It had been a nice christmas and a quite exciting one aswell. Grandfather and grandmother had come down from Hammerfest. That was a northen city in the country Norway. And her aunt had flew from Oslo to meet her. She didnt had seen her relatives from Norway sence she was four years old. But after this christmas dad had promise that they would try to meet in the summer break and then try to meet them more often. Beacuse there were so many things that Florence wanted to know. Did she have more relatives in Norway that she didnt know about. Was some of them a witch or a wizard aswell? Why did it take so long time to meet up with her grandparents again? Had there been a fight between her parents and her grandparents from Norway when she was four. That she didnt know about. But she would in someway try to figure out. She had decided that she needed to know more about her bacground.

She waved goodbye to her dad once again and went further into the train. It was quite full at the time. It seemed like alot of students had been home for their winter break. Florence that didnt have so many friends. Wanted to sit in a wagon herslef. But she thought that would be quite impossible for now. So she looked around for a compartment that only had a few students in it. And finally she found one. She saw a girl sitting there. And she open the door a bit carefully.

"Excuse me miss, can I sit here?"

Blinking, Dakota raised her head and looked over at the girl standing in the doorway, a smile spreading across her face. ”Oh! Of course, make yourself comfortable.” Dakotas voice was sweet and soothed, though she was quite tiny for a eleven year old her gaze was filled with kindness and seemed welcoming. Dakota wore a red and black flannel dress that stopped at her lower thighs and black leggings under it but these clothes had cat fur sprinkled along it. She sat with a book in her lap though Florence couldn’t see the title or covering of the book Dakota had seemed immersed in it, her blue eyes shimmering as Dakota watched.

After a few moments Dakota returned her attention down to the open pages. Dakotas golden brown hair shimmered in the sunlight that shone through the window, her tan skin having freckles along it and her fingernails looking chewed. Silently, she ran her fingers along the pages, letting out a soft sigh she closed her book and placed it back into her bag before looking back at Florence. “I didn’t ask, what’s your name? If you don’t mind.” she paused for a moment before blinking “I’m Dakota Olson.” she mumbled with a smile. The small girl sitting in comfortably in the corner of the seat seemed quite genuinely kind.
