Elsie is a naturally polite and sweet girl but is considered rather timid towards people she doesn't know. Despite this, she is eager to learn more about other people. To those she is close to, she is incredibly loyal, imaginative, clever, and trusting. Although Elsie is a curious girl and eager learner, she can seem at times rather scatterbrained and indecisive. Keeping most of her thoughts and feelings to herself, she struggles to learn how to make friendships. However, she certainly will try her best to keep the friends she does find.
Appearance:
Elsie is rather slim and is only about 4'7. She has particularly light skin with cheeks that flush rather easily. Her hair is a dark brown that goes a little past her shoulders. Her eyes are a deep blue accompanies with dark lashes. Her most defining trait would be her smile. Her smile has a small gap in between her two front teeth.
Background:
Elsie Hoagland is the only daughter of wizard David and muggle Naomi Hoagland. Both of her parents have a profession in writing. Elsie from a young age soon took pleasure of her parent occupation. From the time she was only 7 and still learning to write, Elsie began making little stories to show her parents. As she grew older she was intrigued with historic fiction, short stories, and journaling. Having two working parents and no siblings aided in Elsie's more reclusive nature. However, when she was accepted to Hogwarts, she was determined to at least try to make a friend. That is if she'd look up from her writing.
