❁Her Story❁

The only thing Rebekah has from her biological parents is the name Ayeon. Beyond that the young girl never knew her parents, both of whom were Muggles. Born in South Korea she was adopted as a baby by the loving Morton family. Youngest of four, the other three Morton children also being adopted, Bex never has been a typical "baby" sibling. She often was the lead troublemaker around the house or coercing her closest sibling, Isla, into some sort of mischief.

The Morton Household

Resides in Leeds and is of typical middle class means. Reginald Morton and his wife, Olivia, were unable to conceive but managed to still have their own children and found a loving family with their four adopted children. Meeting in their college years, the two fell in love rather quickly and ended up marrying while still finishing their studies. Eventually, after years of trying they came to the decision to adopt. Both came from loving homes of their own and so their did everything they could to mimic the environment they had been raised in. Growing up in a tight neighborhood allowed Bex to become immersed in all that was Muggle but also enjoy constant companionship whether it be her siblings, especially sharing a room with Isla, the kids next door or even the elderly couple who sat just across the road on their porch every afternoon.

Bex and her siblings were never found wanting for anything they needed and were raised in a kind, close knit family dynamic. While attending school prior to Hogwarts, Rebekah had a handful of close friends and enjoyed her studies. She was most interested in any History and English courses but found an intense love of sports since it was the perfect outlet for her to release any pent up energy from the day. A social butterfly, Bekah never had a hard time fitting in with her peers but sometimes found herself clinging to her own opinions a little too much and unable to budge, often leading to disagreements. It could be said she wasn't a "rule breaker" and not contrary in attitude towards her teachers, though she did tend to find herself entangled in trouble alongside some friends who were just too curious for their own good. Average in her grades and excelling more at activities and clubs, Bex always enjoyed her time at school but would much rather explore the outdoors. Hogwarts, as with everything in the young girl's life, is just another chapter of adventure she is all too excited to begin.

A peek ahead into the girl's future...

Rebekah has never been concerned with appearances. She runs a comb through her hair and wears whatever she finds clean for the day, or uniform depending on school, but she has never been one to really go above and beyond. To her the time others spend primping and preening only takes away from the precious moments she could be out playing with her friends or kicking a ball around. She's often seen with scraped knees or bruises and isn't afraid to let loose a burp should it rumble out. She is short in stature, even compared to her peers, with an average weight mainly from the small amount of muscle forming thanks to all the rough housing, tree climbing, and physical activities on a daily basis. Olivia makes it a point to trim the girl's dark brown hair at her request, just about shoulder length so she can pull it back easily enough or leave it down if she prefers. Her facial features aren't necessarily slim, a bit of a rounded curve to her cheeks and button nose but her chin and jawline are just as sharp as her wit.
