Great Maze - Oh My Goat
It was time for the Great Maze. Bloom had never been a part of such an exciting, yet terrifying experience of an event before. She was only eleven, and the most she had ever done was try out for sports. But this, this was way beyond her experiences. Thankfully, she had Ben by her side. She trusted him to be her emotional support-- especially through this event.
Looking around with her chocolate brown eyes, she saw that the beautiful, green hedges were well above their heads. There was no way to look over without going onto his shoulders. But even then, they may be a bit too short to see over. Bloom looked back at Ben and waved for him to come in with her. They had to be together at all times. There was no such thing as to split up, which Bloom thought to be a great rule. She looked in and saw that she had multiple ways to go. Where do start? she asked herself.
She looked back at Ben. "Which way should we go?" she asked, wanting him to make the decision. She then remembered reading about when someone is lost, especially in a maze, it is important to go the same direction at all times. It will get them to where they needed to go. Bloom paused and looked at each of the paths. They had to choose their path as everyone else was already on their way.
"Let's just choose one side. Like, if we go left, we stay left for awhile. No matter what, you're bound to make it to the middle. Unless you have any other ideas?" she asked, waiting for him to respond. Bloom, feeling a bit crazed about the event decided to take the decision upon herself. She decided to start West.
ACTION: West

Great Maze - Oh My Goat
The team heads west into the maze. The view of Hogwarts and Lake vanished once the entrance was out of sight. The ground became soggy at a few points in this direction for some reason but it wasn’t bad. A few birds already made nests in the newly formed hedge maze and squawked at the students trying to pass through. It remained light most of the way as the hedges were not too tall, but it was certainly shaded inside. Lumos wouldn’t be necessary to see at all. The path curved a few times but no options presented themselves beyond the current path for two more corners. Then the path split ahead where a choice had to be made. Further inspection revealed nothing more than dirt and grass. No clues about where they might find a goat or anything else for that matter. To the north, another path winded through the maze. It was hard to see where it went due to a corner only a few feet ahead. Another path shot off to the South and similarly seemed to be hard to judge. Lastly, a path diverged to the Northeast that went for a decent distance before also turning elsewhere. Where would the team head next?
Choose between North, South, or Northeast. You could also go back to the start. Remember that teams cannot split up.
