A Winter Meeting Writer: Henry Knight The Winter meeting wasn't your usual hunt but instead, it gave members both old and new a chance to mingle with each other whole solving riddles and searching for treats. The original turnout of the meeting was amazing with so many members of different years, houses, and experiences showing up with different objectives in mind. Some started to solve riddles like Michael Miller who seemed rather brilliant at figuring out the answers for each riddle he received on the first try. It's a wonder why the boy isn't in Ravenclaw? Or some were better at finding the treats hidden around the classroom. Both Aspen Summers and Sapphire Riddle found treats each round almost as if the two girls had a radar to detect the sweets for them. No matter what happened, the winter meeting definitely was a good time all around for anyone who decided to pop in including non-members.... but please join the SCH before going to the meetings. You won't regret it if you still haven't joined! As the treats were mostly all found and the riddles almost all solved, students started to file out. Eventually leaving only the amazing president and nine others still enjoying the fun.

The Spring Meet Writer Michael Miller So the year hasn't been the best for all the Hogwarts students, from Dhampirs in the basement to the Valentine's awkwardness. I know many have a couple of bruises whether emotional or physical so why not do something fun? The scavenger hunt club has just the thing you need! Our past meets have been packed full of chocolate frogs and fun, and even some tension and our Spring one will be too! New riddles, New clues, and New prizes. Staff Interviews

The SCH has seen all types of changes throughout it's time at Hogwarts all however only helped the club grow and morph into a better club.

However as the popularity of the club grew, one person couldn't do everything by theirselves no matter how amazing she is... So the president brought on four others to help out with items such as; Organizing hunts, moderating, and writing the newsletter.

To allow current members and other students still looking for a club to meet each new member plus learn a bit more about the current amazing president, a interview was conducted on each below.

1. Why did you originally start the SCH club?
"I started the Scavenger Hunt Club as a way to pass the time. I used to play scavenger hunts with my brother all the time when I was younger and thought that the students of Hogwarts might enjoy it as much as I did. As more and more members joined, it also became a place to learn puzzle solving skills that I suppose could be used on other things too, or just as a fun skill to have I guess."
2. How would like to see this club change or grow in the coming year?
"In the coming year, I just hope to see more interest and more participants for every hunt. Right now, this is more than I ever even dreamed it could be, so to hope for more seems a little presumptuous."
3. Why should students join the SCH club instead of other clubs?
"People shouldn't join the SHC over any other club, per say. They should join it in addition to other clubs. The SHC offers a variety of hunts and events to pass some mellow evenings in a fun way. Not to mention we have prizes and an opportunity to connect with your peers in a fun environment."

Bridget Collins ~ Moderator Michael Miller Reducio 1. Who are you? "I'm Bridget Collins, 3rd year Slytherin, and Duelling Co-Captain of the Viridian Vipers." 2. Are you excited to be part of the SCH team? "I enjoy my position in the club, yes. I've moderated a hunt before, actually, and it was quite fun." 3. Do you have any ideas for the future of the club? "I don't have any particular ideas for the club going forward, no. It's a fun idea and I'm just happy to help with whatever is needed going forward." 4.How do you feel about the leader and founder of the Club? "Um... I think she's great? Wait no, don't put that, that sounds insincere. Well, Katrina's one of my closest friends. She's put a lot of hard work into this club. I'm glad I get to be a part of it with her."

Everly Charlton ~ Moderator Henry Knight Reducio 1.Everly what made you interested in the club as a member firstly? "I was introduced to the club in the beginning by a friend and thought I’d give it a go because the description sounded fun. I had heard of the club before but didn’t join until then" 2.Do you have any ideas for upcoming hunts? "I really like scavenger hunts, riddles, and puzzles, so I do hope what I decide to do will turn out fun and enjoyable for the club members. Though I have yet to figure out all the details, I can tell you that you’re in for a ride!" 3. As a first year, how would you say joining clubs and making friends are important at Hogwarts? "To be honest, as a first year, a lot of people are really intimidating at first, more or less so depending on who you are. It’s really important, to me at least, to have people to depend on and something important to focus on. So yes, I’d say that doing so is important"

Henry Knight ~ Newsletter Writer Michael Miller Reducio 1. Who are you? “I'm Henry Knight, second year slytherin and a duelist slytherin dueling team; Viridian Vipers” 2. Are you excited to be part of the SCH writing team? “I think I'm exciting, I always loved reading and grew to like writing so I guess I'm excited to help add to the sch club!" 3. Do you have any ideas for the future of the club? "Ideas? Uh.... for the club? Right... ideas that I have are... uh... sorry, I'm just a bit anxious... So the idea I have for the club maybe a system for hunts to help both the club and brilliant president to stay organized" 4.How do you feel about the leader and founder of the Club? "Kat? Well I met her once or twice outside of the club and she seems like a kind and amazing person! She's great at piano I guess and her club is bloody wicked. She seems like a great person overall."

Michael Miller ~ Newsletter Writer Henry Knight Reducio 1.What makes you interested in the club? "The club first interested me by the hunt aspect. I naturally like puzzles and the catch to solve them was too cool to pass up." 2.Do you feel stress or pressure overall at Hogwarts seeing how many clubs you run? "Yes actually, I have 2 good clubs, and one in the making. But the stress doesn't make me worn down, it makes me keep going. " 3. Why did you want a position; specific a writer on the sch club? "I wanted to be able to help the club, and to show outsiders the greatness of it all. Plus i love writing and it looked like a lot of fun!" 4. As a first year, do you have any advice you could give next year's first years when it comes to joining clubs and managing stress? "My advice: Just pick a club that you think you'll like. Don't do something just because it's full, join because you want to be there and you'll be fine."
