Headed to Hogwarts
When she had first awoke this morning, Savannah had been excited to begin anew at Hogwarts, alongside her brothers. Throughout the morning, she was thrilled with her father’s decision to allow her to attend, and her mood continued to get better until they had arrived at King’s Cross. Walking alongside her bickering brothers as they approached Platform 9¾, Savannah’s mood fell, anxiety flowing through her. Though she had been born into this world, Savannah knew practically nothing of it, and the thought of being rejected in this world, the one she belonged in, terrified her.
Before long, they were standing on Platform 9¾, and Savannah’s three older brothers were disappearing off into the crowd to find their friends. Savannah stood quietly beside her caretaker, unsure of what she should do. She had no friends, unlike most of the pureblood children her brother’s had told her about. Standing where she was, she could see several students that appeared to be near her age, however, many of them had already flocked together and were talking excitedly.
She shuffled uncomfortably, following behind her caretaker as the older woman led her to the train. The two, with some difficulty, managed to place her trunk in the train. With a single hug, and a tiny wave goodbye, Savannah stepped into the train and began to drag her trunk behind her as she searched for an empty compartment.
She finally found one, near the very end of the train, that was completely empty and settled in quietly, pulling out a book and tucking herself into the seat against the window. It wasn’t very long before the door slid open and Savannah lifted her head to find herself peering over at another student

The pink-haired girl hadn’t surprised Savannah in the slightest. Though she herself had never been allowed to dye her hair, Savannah had helped her best friend dye hers several times, as her parents were more open to the idea. It was the blood dripping from the cut on the other girl’s forehead that shocked Savannah, though her sudden fall caused Savannah to rush forward. Despite not remembering much of her mother, Savannah could recall the muggle treatments that her mother often used for Savannah and her brothers and she quickly rushed to provide assistance to the other girl.
Once she had done all she possibly knew to do, Savannah sat back and eyed the girl curiously. There was nothing else to do now but wait until she regained consciousness, and Savannah didn’t just want to be rude and go back to reading like nothing had happened. She examined the girl silently, noting that she was obviously a bit clumsy. When Savannah’s eyes reached the girl’s shoes, she grinned, realizing what had happened, and making a mental note to remind the other girl to tie her shoelaces before she moved again.
Savannah carefully moved the other girl’s trunk out of the way, placing it beside her own, and dug through the few items Savannah had wished to bring along with her. She shoved the muggle books aside, pausing slightly to carefully move the copy of Moby Dick to the side and then continued her search. When she found the bit of cloth that her brother had thrown into the trunk earlier that morning, she leaned back proudly, and sat it on the seat beside her, placing the books back into the trunk. Once she had closed her trunk, she sat back and waited silently for the other girl to regain consciousness.

Headed to Hogwarts
After the girl - Ginger - once again passed out, Savannah searched for her brother, who promptly raced back to the compartment, leaving Savannah to wander back quietly. As she walked back, hoping that Greyson would be able to help Ginger, she eyed the students in other compartments, suddenly realizing that many of them were already in their Hogwarts robes. Of all the things her brothers had mentioned to her, they had failed to tell her just how long it takes for the train to get to Hogwarts. She sped up, glancing out the window every now and again as she made her way back to her compartment. When she reached it, Greyson was nowhere to be found, but the nasty cut on Ginger’s forehead was gone, though the blood still remained.
Savannah moved over beside her, taking the cloth she previously pulled from her trunk and trying to wipe the blood off the girl’s forehead. When she realized that she couldn’t wide it off, she sighed and moved away, deciding to change before Ginger woke up, and then do whatever she could to assist her. When she was done, she tucked her muggle clothing back into her trunk and sat down across from Ginger, grabbing her copy of a Book of Spells to read as the train headed along its course. Her excitement to arrive was slowly returning, and her curiosity about Ginger surprised her. After attempting to read, to no avail, Savannah turned her attention to the window, watching the scenery silently.

Headed to Hogwarts
When the train jolted to a stop, Savannah was peering out the window, already amazed by the station and the school. Ginger’s voice behind her made her jump and turn around slowly, smiling.
"Well, I really don't feel like playing the victim or anything, if that's what you're thinking, but I can't do anything that requires me to exert myself even a little bit. Do you have any idea how I can change and get off the train? I honestly feel pretty stupid, but this is worse than when I had a concussion and fell down the stairs," she explained. "Thanks for your help first - that was you, wasn't it?"
Savannah moved away from the window, dragging the two trunks to the doorway and then moving back to sit in front of Ginger.
"What house do you think you'll go to? I really want to go to Ravenclaw ..."
“I’m not s-sure. My dad was a S-Slytherin, and according to my caretaker, my mum was a Gryffindor. I think I’d like to f...f-follow in her f-footsteps, but I’d also like to be with one of my brothers.” Savannah said, peering at the floor, her smile disappearing. At home, her caretaker and brother’s didn’t mind her stuttering. It wasn’t as frequent as it used to be, but it still caused her to get some funny looks from muggles and people that don’t know her. She glanced up, and then held out her hand. “I’m s-sorry. My name is S-Savannah. Savannah Scott. Come on, I’ll help you get changed and we can go up to the s-school together.”
Savannah rose, holding out her hand to Ginger and waiting patiently.
