Eleanore River Reed was born on August 13th in 2009. She was born in London, England at home. Her parents, Ryan Reed and Angelena Reed, were both pure-blood. Ryan Anthony Reed was born January 26th in 1989. He attended Hogwarts as a Slytherin and left to work at the Ministry of Magic. Angelena River Forbes was born October 12th in 1991. She also attended Hogwarts as Hufflepuff, and soon met Ryan. The two got married young and had Eleanore the same year. Eleanore was named after her grandmother, Eleanore Jane Forbes. Eleanore Jane Forbes also attended Hogwarts as a Hufflepuff just like her daughter. As a baby, little Eleanore's grandmother always looked after her as a nanny. Her parents both worked at the Ministry, so they were rarely home. When Eleanore was two, her parents were supposed to come home for her birthday, but they never did. Older Eleanore found out that her son and daughter in law both passed in a ministry mission gone wrong. This left little Eleanore under the care of her grandmother.
Eleanore attended a private school called Bute House Preparatory School for Girls in West London. She excelled in school, getting good grades and rarely getting in trouble. As a young girl, she always reflected her mother's personality. This made her grandmother believe that if she attended Hogwarts, she would be a Hufflepuff just like her mother. As she got a little older, around 9, her sass started to pull through. Her personality changed almost completely. That is when her grandmother knew that she would end up a Slytherin. Eleanore never really had much friends, she had one best friend. Up until she was 9, she would not talk to anyone who talked to her, so she naturally never really had a big social life. After she was 9, she would give so much sass, that no one wanted to be her friend. This affected young Eleanore greatly. 
Eleanore's first instance of magic happened when she was 10 years old. Her grandmother had gotten her a puzzle for her birthday. Eleanore couldn't find the last piece so she got angry. She searched her room for that missing puzzle piece. In a fit of rage, she caused her puzzle to fly into the air and fly around the room. She screamed, calling for her grandmother in terror of the speeding puzzle. Her grandmother rushed in and gasped in shock, she knew Eleanore was a witch, but never knew that she would be able to do that. Her grandmother grabbed her wand and stopped the speeding puzzle from hitting poor Eleanore. Eleanore asked what had just happened and her grandmother explained everything.
