Michael Miller was single this Valentines, just like all the rest. The only difference? He had someone that made his cheeks, and made him feel smaller- that last part wasn't really a good thing, but it was true.
Michael wasn't one to celebrate hoildays, this one being no different then the others. He started the day laying in his bed, wide awake as he thought about the next day. Couples of all kinds were going to be celebrating. He rolled over. Maybe one day he and Percy could-
No. No that would never happen. But one could day dream about such things that one never happen. Mic smiled as he thought of Percy being cheesy and bring him flowers. White roses with gold paper. He rolled out of bed, and got dressed quickly.
White shirt and white pants under his Slytherin robes, a necklace with a gold rose on it. He hummed as he walked into the great hall only to notice people decorating something. Peeking closer he saw cookies.
Ten mintues later he was at empty part of the hufflepuff table, a thing of cookies by him, and white and green icing near. His plan was to make white flowers with green stems. It wasn't really a Valentine design but it would be pretty none the less.
He hummed as he worked, looking around before stuffing a cookie in his mouth. He smiled, yummy, and continued to design them. He wondered who he would give then to, maybe Percy? The dance was tonight, maybe he could on their date. The boy started to blush thinking about the date planned for tonight.
Something told him that it wouldn't end well, that he would regret it, but he didnt think so, he thought it would be great.
After he had one cookie done, he put it back in the pan, and grabbed another, smiling as he made a rose. The rose was white and looked decent, or well, how decent a rose made by a 11 year old could be. He spend the next 10 mintues getting all of them decorated, spelling out love on four, before finishing and putting his icing down.
He had to convince himself not to grab the icing again and squeeze it all into his mouth, he could barely stop himself. The only way he did, was someone made his attention snap away from it by sitting down.

Cookies! How could Lindsey miss it? As soon as she heard about this errand, the young badger knew that she would be joining. Alright, she was a terrible baker, and would probably burn the whole castle down if they let students help bake the cookies, but they’re just decorating them. It’s somehow like drawing, just on a cookie, and Lindsey was especially glad that she had seen her old bestie — who transformed — drawing in their first year. She was an artist in music, but probably not in drawing, and this would be a great way of practicing. Although they said the cookies were for Valentines…but never mind. Her friends would get cookies from her, and hopefully the cookies wouldn’t seem that terrible.
As a result, she found herself dragging May Moonstar along from the common room to the great hall, attempting to join in the errand before the cookies were eaten up. “May! Aren’t you excited? We get cookies! I hope they are well-baked — but I know they’d be delicious!” slowing down a bit (she’s almost running before), she turned to her friend again. “Tell me, who do you want to give your cookies to? Some boy that I’m currently unaware of?” smirking a little bit, her chocolate brown eyes sparkled with delight. The cookies should go to her friends…she didn’t really have a crush thingy, but wait…she blinked.
Several names popped up in her head. Oh yeah, Wyatt would be glad…of course one of the cookies would be given to him. Hopefully he wouldn’t mind if they were badly decorated. Seriously, if there’s really a love thing, he would be the only one with the title. This Slytherin boy had a strange attraction to her, and she was, expectedly, drawn to him. But she didn’t know…alright. Maybe she could figure out something later, when she’s decorating cookies. Usually when making food, she’d feel more peaceful, and could think deeper.
The wide grin still remained on her face, while the two girls made their way to the Hufflepuff table. Someone was already there, someone she wasn’t acquainted before, nor did she see him in the common room. The boy looked sorta like her cousin, and he was dedicated in making his cookies. Showing May the way, Lindsey led her towards the boy. She wasn’t very sure if they’d gonna introduce themselves to him before sitting down, so she decided to sit down with May straight opposite the boy. Hopefully he wouldn’t mind them sitting down at those two empty seats…
She took a deep breath, and grabbed some well baked cookies placed on the long table. “I think I’ll decorate it with their house colors…you are a good drawer, May, are you? I’m sorta, terrible at drawing.” she dragged some icing nearer her. “I wonder…” she started, then became silent again. Maybe she’d try making it herself without other’s help, and without that much talking. But…yeah. Putting some icing on one cookie, she raised up her head and grinned at May, leaning over a bit and observed her work. “Have you got your cookie receivers in mind? Here, see, I’m making one for you!” She had already decided that they should go to all her friends, her good acquaintances, etc. It was rather sad that she couldn’t give them to her old friends who transformed…with a smile she glanced at the boy opposite them. He seemed a great designer…she couldn’t see clearly, but maybe, there was, a rose on his cookie? And he was eating icings. Lindsey chuckled a bit while followed the younger boy’s example, eating some icings herself. After that, she lowered her head, and continued to focus on her cookies.
After a while the cookies were finished. She placed them on the table, admiring them (with a critical eye?), and let out a relived breath. “I think I’ve finished my part.” she muttered. But soon she remembered something. Yes. She would write notes attached with the cookie to her friends, explaining the thing if they were somehow ignorant of the event. She dragged a pen out from her pocket. As usual, muggle artifacts were easier and far more convenient for using.
********
1. The first cookie, decorated with light green and silver strips around, would somehow look like a Christmas decoration cookie. In the middle there would be a lettering symbol of “W”, in a dreamy forest green color. At the bottom right corner there would also be a small red heart, barely visible though. This cookie would go to her crush friend Wyatt Starkey, with a small note of “Hiya Hi there I decorated Happy Hope you like it! -Lindsey”.
2. The second one, again, was decorated in green, but this time bottle green. It was like…the icing seemed clumsily spilt on the cookie, covering most half of it with dark green color. For the rest it would be silvery, again seemed like the icings were spilt (because they were). “I’m not a very good cookie decorator…but this cookie tastes well for sure. Come and get some in the Great Hall, you won’t regret. -Florence”. Leonard Oaksworth would get this cookie along with the note.
3. The third one was meant for a snake as well. Cassandra Ironwoods would get this cookie, decorated with silvery icing around and a green colored broom in the middle and a beater’s bat floating upon it. The broom and the bat weren’t very well designed, but it seemed that the decorator had already tried her best. The note attached would have a line of words. “For my fellow beater friend! I’m not a very good artist, but hopefully you’ll like it! Happy Valentine’s Day! -Holly”.
4. The fourth one was for the badger beside her. If May Moonstar liked, the cookie would go directly from Lindsey’s hand to hers. This cookie was mostly decorated with warm yellow, with three golden stars in the middle. “Tried my best…but I’m sure it’s delicious. Definitely tastes better than how it looks…but anyways, happy Valentine’s Day, May!” Instead of writing a note, she would directly tell her friend this.
5. The fifth one, although for a Hufflepuff as well, would go in a dreamy dark blue color instead of yellow. The cookie, with dark blue icings as bottom color, would have a white framed heart in the middle. Prepared for Lucia Fox, she’d find a note along with the cookie. “Hiya Lucia! I decorated this cookie! Happy Valentine’s Day! Aaaand send my love to River, she’s so adorable. -Lindsey”.
6. The sixth one however, would go with bright red and gold. In the middle there would be a blooming heart, in scarlet red. This cookie was prepared for her friend Marshal Mozor who hadn’t shown up for some time, with a note of “Happy Valentines Marsh! Haven’t seen you for long, maybe I’d go and seek you at your house table sometime during lunch or dinner. Miss you. -Lynn”.
7. The seventh one was for Scarlett Aden. Decorating with gold background and a red rose in the middle (the rose…well, it’s more like a random flower, for the decorator had tried her best but maybe it’s not coming out as that beautiful), the cookie would arrive with a small note: “Hi hi Scarlett! I decorated this cookie, and hopefully you won’t mind it’s rather badly drawn…happy Valentines! -Lindsey”.
8. The eighth one, with light blue background and bronze strips on it, would finally arrive at Aly Salinger’s hands. Although it’s mostly decorated with Ravenclaw’s house color, there would be several small bluebells at the bottom of it. A note would also arrive with the cookie. “Hi there Aly! I decorated this cookie, and I hope that you like it! Maybe we could meet again sometime…just wanna say, thank you for your company last January. Best wishes! -Lindsey”.

After finishing writing, she looked up to May, while casually picking up an unfrosted cookie and throwing it in to her mouth. Delicious. Again casually, her chocolate brown eyes landed on the boy. He was alone, and seemed…quite lonely. She stared at him for a couple of minutes without getting discovered, and turned back to focus on the cookies. Well, maybe she could frost more and eat them herself…WC: 766(text)+608(cookie) | Errand Completed!
