HELP!
Kayden stumbled out into the clearing, a deep gash going down his torso. Blood trickled down his chest and stained his shirt. He walked, someone who didn't know what was going on would think he was drunk. There was a large boulder sitting in the middle of the grounds.
Surprisingly, the grounds were deserted this overcast morning.
That was a problem. A big one. He grabbed his ribs and drew in an extremely raspy breath. He wanted to yell, to let someone know he needed help, to come to save him.
He drew in all of the volume he could, then yelled "Help!" While he thought he was yelling it, it really came out as a less than an audible whisper.
He looked around once again, the trees were rustling deeply in the wind, they knew what was coming.
Kayden didn't however. A loud crash of thunder echoed through the grounds, startling Kayden.
He realized... if someone didn't turn up soon, he'd be dead. During his first year! Well, dying was bad at any point, but he hadn't even had a life.
A droplet of water hit his nose, and soon it was pouring rain down onto him. He yelled again, in one futile attempt, one hopeful shot.

HELP!
@Kayden Lind
The Grounds were very quiet at this time of day, which was why Ashley had come. She didn't like being around loud people, or people in general. She was an introvert, happiest when alone. A gust of wind swept through the trees, blowing Ashley's wild red hair into her face and chapping her lips. The tree branches blew and swayed overhead, creating an unsettling rustling sound.
Through the wind, Ashley made out a faint voice. She couldn't tell what the voice was saying, but it didn't sound good. Someone could be in trouble.
Ashley's brow furrowed. I should help, she thought. She straightened her glasses and braced herself against the howling wind, growing stronger by the second. A storm was coming, she could feel it. The voice sounded again. "Help!" The voice sounded pained. Ashley walked faster, squinting her eyes, trying to find the person in trouble. But all she could see were trees. Suddenly, it started raining, big droplets flying faster and faster down from the looming grey clouds. Ashley covered her head with her hands in a failed attempt to stay dry. A flash of color made it's way to her eyes from a few yards away. It was a person, doubled down on the ground, grasping their torso. Ashley began running, no longer caring about how wet she got. The figure was a boy. His torso was covered in blood and he looked like he was about to pass out.
"Oh my god," Ashley whispered.
She should have froze, like she always did at the sight of blood. But for whatever reason, instead of getting squeamish, she went into her determined mode. The boy was slowly fading away. Ashley quickly ripped off her sweater, shivering in her t-shirt, and wrapped the piece of wet cloth tightly around the boys torso, attempting to stop the bleeding. No one was dying on her watch.
"Can you hear me?" she asked him.
HELP!
It was a true miracle. Someone had come! He then immediately wondered why anyone in their right mind would be out on a day like this.
A girl, redheaded rushed up to him. Kayden had a hard time making out her face, his vision was going fuzzy. Water had begun pouring down from the heavens as if God himself had been angered by this atrocity.
The girl wrapped her sweater around his bleeding torso, and that stopped up the bleeding a small amount, but soon, her sweater was stained scarlet.
The girl looked down at him. "Can you hear me?" she asked, her eyes displaying her sympathy.
Yes. He breathed out, trying to get a gulp of fresh air, but every time he opened his mouth, he caught a throat-full of water.
A huge crash of lighting shook the grounds, not far from them. It must have struck the lake.
"It's not-" He coughed, spitting up water, "It's not safe..."
He realized this was an obvious statement for both of them, and realized it was probably the least helpful thing he could have said.
He grasped her am, holding it in a deathlock. "Nurse, Brumby, please."
He coughed, and blood spattered onto the grounds.

HELP!
@Kayden Lind
He could hear her. There was hope. "Nurse, Brumby, please." he coughed our, gripping her arm. His face was twisted in anguish and his blond hair was wet and limp across his forehead. The sweater Ashley had wrapped tightly around hit torso was quickly filling with fresh blood. Thunder crashed. Ashley's heart was beating faster than it ever had before. He was dying, and the weather was growing worse.
I need to get him to the hospital wing, Ashley thought. She cursed herself for not bringing her wand. She could have sent up a flare or something.
A flash of lightning struck a branch only a couple hundred yards away from them, sending it crashing to the ground in a shower of sparks. Ashley knew that being under so many trees was a bad idea in a storm like this, but she couldn't go anywhere. The boy was much bigger and taller than she was, so it would be hard to move him. The boy sank lower, coughing a crimson pool of blood on the muddy ground. The wind whipped faster. Hastily, Ashley yanked her sopping red hair back with a rubber band, rolled up her sleeves. and evaluated the situation. Judging by rate the blood was seeping out of his chest, she had only a few minutes before this boy . . . died.
Ashley took a deep breath and closed her eyes. Oh, god, please let this work. She bent down so her lips were level with his ear. "Listen. I need you to tell me if you can stand. Please. Answer me."
HELP!
"Listen. I need you to tell me if you can stand. Please. Answer me." Judging by the effort it took to breathe if he could, it would be hard. He nodded. His muscles ached with pain as using the girl for support, he stood up.
He looked back. The rock was stained crimson, and it would remain that way for the rest of its time at Hogwarts. He watched as a tree in the forbidden forest got struck down by lightning. His head lay limp on the girl's shoulder. It wasn't a bad sight, but he didn't want the last he saw to be the girl's muddy-red hair.
He had this girl to thank for his life. But first, he would have to survive. He trudged forward silently, as he continued to lose strength. He relied on the girl entirely, she would determine him living or dying. He didn't even know her name.
He felt a rib crack, and a tear silently slipped down his cheek. He looked back and realized his wand lay on the ground by the stone.
"Meh wand. My wand!"
He leaned down to pick it back up, letting out a cry of anguish.
"Please don't let me die."
He muttered feebly, as he hobbled towards the castle under her support.

HELP!
@Kayden Lind
"Meh wand. My wand!" Ashley noticed the boy bend down for his wand, wincing from the pain. Oh, no you don't, she thought, and grabbed it herself, sticking it in her pocket. She would give it to him later.
"Please don't let me die," the boy's voice was weak and raspy. Ashley felt her eyes fill with tears, which didn't really matter because the rain was pouring down faster than ever. Ashley's glasses began slipping but she hardly noticed. The boy was heavy, and she was staggering under his weight. But she would make it. She had to.
"You are not going to die. I promise. Do you hear me? I promise. Keep walking. There you go. It going to be fine. We're going to get you to the Hospital Wing." Ashley's voice wavered slightly. She hoped what she said was was true.
The castle was growing closer. Ashley sighed with relief. The boy's breaths were short and ragged but he was still alive. Which was all that mattered.
Ashley's feet dragged through the thick mud. They were covered with blood, like pretty much everything she was wearing. It's going to be fine. it's going to be fine. It's going to be fine. It's going to be fine, Ashley chanted to herself over and over again in her head. They were nearing the castle. Ashley tried to walk a little faster, hoping the boy could manage. It's going to be fine.
HELP!
They blew down the doors to the castle with a perfectly timed flash of lightning announcing their arrival. People cleared out of their way, as they stumbled their way to the nurse's office. They hobbled their way up a flight of stairs, walked through halls.
Everywhere they went people gasped, ran away, off to tell teachers or their friends or others. One girl they passed even retched up all over the floor, straight in front of them.
They passed teachers, but all they did was advise him to get to the nurse's office as fast as possible. Kayden felt his eyes begin to glaze over, as his breaths grew shorter. Thunder rumbled through the halls as they kept moving, the destination ever nearer.
Kayden watched as house-elves scurried behind them to wipe up the blood. He felt extremely bad about that, he was someone who believed house-elves were to be treated with the utmost respect, as they help immensely with their service and cooking. Cooking Kayden needed nutrition badly. He was dehydrated, (except for that rainwater he almost choked on.) hungry, and fatigued.
Two minutes later Kayden noticed the door to the nurse's office. They burst in, quite dramatically in fact, just as his vision went dark.
Moved to nurses office.
